香港勞工處今天致電香港亞洲家務工工會聯會（FADWU），回應我們去年八月向勞工處提問，外傭僱主標準僱傭合約5(b)條雖有列明僱主應向外傭提供免費膳食，但沒有闡述膳食質量，本會和屬會就處理過不少僱主剝削，有時僱主只給予姐姐一日一塊白麵包😭，就叫做提供咗膳食。勞工處就本會的提問作出了積極的回應，更新了勞工處出版的兩本予外傭及外傭僱主的手冊，其中關於僱主提供膳食有所說明：「一般而言，一天應提供至少三餐（早餐、午餐和晚餐）合適的膳食。」✊ 詳情請見 https://www.fdh.labour.gov.hk/en/publication.html #1 本會主席阿Dang回應說「好高興有消息，有進步」。😃

The Labour Department of Hong Kong called FADWU today. The Department responds positively to our concern raised to them in August last year. Now the Labour Department has updated its handbooks on migrant domestic workers, stating that on the provision of food by employers, "In general, at least three suitable meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) should be provided a day." ✊ check it out on https://www.fdh.labour.gov.hk/en/publication.html #1 😃"We are happy to hear the news and the improvement." said Dang, chairperson of FADWU. Arrangement on disbursing the $20,000 subsidy to foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) employed at Wang F*k Court, Tai Po



All FDHs employed at Wang F*k Court in Tai Po at the time of the fire are eligible to apply for a special subsidy of HK$20,000. To facilitate FDHs’ applications for the subsidy, a special counter will be set up on 6 and 7 December 2025 (Saturday and Sunday) from 11:00 to 17:00 hours at 16/F, One Mong Kok Road Commercial Centre, 1 Mong Kok Road, Kowloon to answer enquiries and receive applications. Applicants can also return the attached application form by fax (3101 0604), email ([email protected]) or by post.

The Hong Kong Labour Department’s counter today and tomorrow (29th & 30th Nov) in Tai Po for affected migrant domestic workers. See below their email:

//Dear Sir/Madam,
The Labour Department is deeply saddened by the fire incident at Wang F*k Court in Tai Po. We extend our deepest condolences to families of those who tragically lost their lives and wishes all the injured a speedy recovery.

To provide assistance to foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) and their employers affected by the fire, the Labour Department will set up a Special Enquiry Counter to answer enquiries on FDH-related employment matters with details as follows:

Dates: 29 and 30 November 2025 (Saturday and Sunday)

Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Venue: Tai Po Complex (8 Heung Sze Wui Street, Tai Po, NT)

Affected FDHs and employers who have enquiries regarding employment matters may also call our dedicated hotline set up for this incident at 3582 8987.
