🎬【Call for Submissions】Asia-Pacific Youth Micro Movie Festival 2026｜Let the world hear your voice through your lens 🎬
Attention to all young creators and emerging directors across the Asia-Pacific region! Here is your stage to showcase your cinematic talent! Under the 2026 annual theme "Youth Voices, Global Frames", we invite visionaries aged 18 to 40 to share youth perspectives and societal resonance with the world through micro movies 🌍
Entry is free of charge‼️Selected directors and producers will be invited to attend the "Asia-Pacific Youth Micro Movie Festival" to share their insights and receive a trophy in recognition of their achievements🏆
📌【Key Festival & Submission Details】
Annual Theme: Youth Voices, Global Frames
👥 Eligibility:
Youth directors aged 18–40 from the Asia-Pacific region (No entry fee; maximum of 2 entries may be submitted per country/region; with priority given to award-winning works)
🎞️ Film Requirements:
- Duration: 20 minutes or under
- Format: Minimum 720p resolution (FHD/QHD/UHD is preferred). Films must be encoded in H.264 or Apple ProRes 422 HQ with a minimum bitrate of 5 Mbps.
- Subtitles: A separate English subtitle file with timecodes is required. Chinese subtitles may also be provided concurrently.
- Regulations: Films must comply with Hong Kong’s Film Censorship Ordinance.
* Important Note: Films created or generated by AI are strictly prohibited. Entrants must hold full copyrights and/or licences for all submitted materials.*

Micro movie file, poster, subtitle file, submission application form, contact details, cast list, synopsis, story outline, and creative concept.

- Content & Theme (50%): Core story, thematic depth, innovation, and emotional resonance
- Cinematography & Technique (30%): Visual language, composition, lighting, seamless editing, and sound design
- Acting Performance (20%): Character depiction, emotional delivery, and cast chemistry
