Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore are cities of seafood lovers. Taking Hong Kong as an example, on average, every Hongkonger consumes 66.5 kg of seafood per year – three times the global average😳
In support of World Oceans Day 🌊, restaurants from leading hotels and a meal plan service in Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore get a sustainable makeover in June by offering specially curated sustainable seafood dishes or menus, revealing that delicious dining can be responsible.💙
Unsustainable commercial fishing is one of the greatest challenges to the oceans. Over 30 percent of global fisheries are overfished. As diners, we have the power to influence positive changes through making ocean-friendly choices, such as choosing certified sustainable seafood or seafood recommended by seafood guides.
