The activities include field visits to Deaf Associations, deaf schools, meet local deaf people, learn their culture, and exchanging the cultural and environmental life, deaf culture and volunteers…
Our Objectives:
- to bring deaf people from different countries into meaningful contact with each other;
- to permit the sharing of ideas, ideals and cultural viewpoints on common issues affecting them;
- to promote international understanding and goodwill, and to work toward the goals of world peace and human understanding;
- to encourage respect in deaf people for the thinking of others;
- to provide opportunity to improve the participants’ communication skill in International Sign; and
-to build up self-confidence and global vision for world deaf community of the future. Target deaf people: 7-12 people
- Have demonstrated leadership in their school and community (deaf & Hearing)
- Are flexible and willing to try new things
- Are open to cultural differences
- Can serve as an ambassador for their own country
