As the leaves begin to fall, autumn reminds us of something simple yet powerful: sometimes, letting go is part of moving forward.

What does autumn mean to you? A change of season? A new beginning? A time to slow down and reflect? Or perhaps a reminder to let go of something that no longer serves you?

At our next Victoria Toastmasters meeting, we're inviting everyone to share their own thoughts, memories, and feelings about this beautiful season. 🍁 Through our seasonal theme, speeches, and impromptu Table Topics, let's take a moment to listen, reflect, and perhaps discover a new perspective from one another.

What a meaningful evening at Victoria Toastmasters!

Last night, we explored something many of us experience but don't always talk about — Imposter Syndrome.

Through our speeches and Table Topics, we shared our own experiences, doubts, and feelings around that familiar voice telling us, “Am I really good enough?”

It was wonderful to hear such honest perspectives and to see everyone supporting one another with thoughtful and encouraging evaluations. 💙

Sometimes, simply realising that we're not alone can make all the difference.

Thank you everyone for making the evening such a warm and open space to share, learn, and grow together. 🌱

Do you ever feel like you don't really belong, even when you've earned your place?

For our next meeting, we're exploring Imposter Syndrome — that familiar feeling of self-doubt that can make us question our abilities, our achievements, and whether we're really “good enough.”

Through inspiring prepared speeches, engaging Table Topics, and supportive evaluations, we'll share perspectives, experiences, and perhaps discover that we're not as alone in these feelings as we think.
Because sometimes, the biggest challenge isn't finding our voice — it's believing that our voice is worth hearing. 💙

Yesterday, even though we had a smaller group joining us, we had an incredible time together!

In fact, a smaller group meant more opportunities for everyone to speak — everyone got the chance to take on Table Topics twice!!!!

More speaking. More spontaneous thinking. More laughs. And definitely more confidence. 💪

✨ What a fantastic evening we had! ✨

Last night's meeting was filled with thought-provoking discussions, inspiring speeches, and plenty of laughter!

Our Luck vs Hard Work themed meeting challenged us to reflect on an age-old question: Does success come from good fortune, or is it earned through persistence? Through our lively Table Topics debate, three inspiring prepared speeches, and heartfelt, constructive evaluations, we heard a wide range of perspectives and personal stories that kept everyone engaged.

A special thank you to our wonderful guests! 💙 It was a pleasure to welcome Anthony from Saladmaster TMC, as well as our international visitors, Sanjay who travelled all the way from Dubai, and his friend Sunil! Sanjay is also a fellow Toastmaster from India club TMC, and it was truly a joy to connect with members from different parts of the world.

Moments like these remind us that Toastmasters is more than just public speaking. It's about building friendships, exchanging ideas, supporting one another, and growing together!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so memorable. We can't wait to see you again at our next meeting! 🚀
