To mark the achievement, Cannes Lions Hong Kong Representative Onie Chu and HK4As Chairman Alexis Chiu recently presented the trophy to Christopher Lee, Chief Creative Officer, and Ha-Lo Cheng, Executive Creative Director, of Publicis Groupe Hong Kong.

✨ Chaos In. Gold Out. The Challenge Begins.

The HK4As Students' Award 2026 officially launched yesterday (September 21, 2026), bringing together nearly 140 students, professors, and industry practitioners for an inspiring virtual briefing under this year's rallying cry: "Chaos In, Gold Out."

The session featured insights from the HK4As Cannes Lions and MAD STARS delegations before the unveiling of the 2026 competition brief by Nistha Mitra, Students' Award Chairlady and Strategist at Ogilvy PR. A two-time Cannes Lions attendee, Nistha represented Hong Kong as a Young Lions PR competitor in 2024 before returning to Cannes in 2026 on a Creative Academy. She challenged participants to reimagine the traditional practice of Tai Chi and make it relevant to today's young Hong Kongers.

Ready to turn creative chaos into award-winning gold?

Hong Kong Shines on the Global Stage at MAD STARS 2026!

Hong Kong creatives have once again proven their world-class talent, bringing home an incredible total of 10 awards and recognitions at MAD STARS 2026. We are beyond thrilled to celebrate the brilliant minds representing our city.

A special spotlight goes to our top-tier talent and the two remarkable entries generously sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), which truly stole the show:

• "Back to Kai Tak" (Leo Burnett Hong Kong) achieved a phenomenal result, capturing the prestigious Grand Prix in Brand Experience & Activation Stars > Culture & Context > Cultural Insight! This outstanding campaign also swept up 5 Golds, 1 Crystal, and a Finalist spot across the Outdoor, PR, and Media categories.

• "Back to the Beginning" (BBDO Hong Kong) proudly secured a Crystal in the Integrated Stars > Sectors > Foods category.
Adding to this impressive lineup, "Passionomics for your first bucket of gold" (Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong) earned a well-deserved Finalist nod in Brand Experience & Activation Stars.

But the excitement in Busan went far beyond the awards ceremonies. Thanks to the continued and generous sponsorship of CCIDA, a dedicated delegation of 16 Hong Kong creatives representing 9 different agencies travelled to the festival to immerse themselves in this global showcase of creativity.

Adding to the pride of this delegation, six of these spots were earned by our standout Young Kam Fan winning teams. Stepping up to represent Hong Kong's emerging talent, these young creatives proudly took on the challenge of competing on the global stage in the MAD STARS New Stars Competition.

Congratulations to all the winning teams for pushing the boundaries of creativity and representing Hong Kong with such excellence!

Registration is now open for the Cannes Lions and MAD STARS Creative Sharing!

Following a remarkable summer for our Kam Fan award-winning creatives and emerging talents, the HK4As is proud to present an exclusive online sharing session. In June and August 2026, we had the privilege of sending two dedicated delegations to the global stage at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and Busan MAD STARS. These valuable opportunities were made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Our Cannes Lions delegation was represented by the Kam Fan 41’s Grand Kam Fan-winning team alongside the champions of the Young Kam Fan competitions.
