πŸŽ‰ The 14th Greater China Design Competition (GCDC) was successfully held on Saturday, 25 April 2026, at HKUST!

This year’s theme focused on a repeatable autonomous climbing system (External Pipe Climber), challenging teams to design and demonstrate robust, precise engineering solutions.

Engineering students in 9 teams from HKU, HKUST, IVE, SCUT, GCUT, and GDUT showcased impressive creativity through presentations and live demonstrations.

πŸ‘ IMechE Hong Kong Branch successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 13 May 2026. It provided an opportunity to review the Branch’s activities, celebrate key milestones, and discuss the ongoing commitment to supporting mechanical engineers across Hong Kong.
