Wishing you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival !🥮

The AFS HK Mid-Autumn Festival BBQ Party 2026 was held on Saturday, 19 September, with over 125 participants, including board members, staff, host families, alumni, volunteers, and exchange students from FRA, SUI, IRL, ITA, GER, BEL, SVK, FIN, TUR, USA, HUN, MEX, VEN, and NED.

AFSers came together for a warm celebration of unity, enjoyed a delicious BBQ, and shared seasonal traditions. It was a wonderful gathering that truly captured the spirit of the festival and the local AFS network—everyone had a great time!

本年度目前已有22個接待家庭，但因部分屬「短期接待」，現正急需招募更多接待家庭，以支援海外學生完成全年在港交流，或暫時填補現有家庭在聖誕節及農曆新年外遊期間的空缺。

⏰接待時間：11或12月開始，可接待3個月至5個月。
👩‍🦰🧑‍🦰學生性別：男生或女生(可配合您的家庭狀況安排)。

成為接待家庭需要提供👇
🍴🥢膳食：一日三餐，膳食安排可與家庭成員相同，無需特別另外準備餐點。
🏠住宿：需要一個獨立床位，無需獨立房間。

Currently, we have 22 host families this year, but as some are short-term placements, we urgently need more host families to support host students in completing their year-long exchange in Hong Kong, or to temporarily step in while current families are traveling during Christmas and Lunar New Year.

⏰Hosting Duration: Starting in November or December, lasting 3 to 5 months.
👩‍🦰🧑‍🦰Student Gender: Male or Female (can be matched to fit your family's preferences).

Host Families should provide:
🍴🥢Meals: Three meals a day. Students can eat the same meals as your family; no special preparation is required.
🏠Accommodation: A dedicated bed is required (a private room is not necessary).

【AFS Intercultural Fair 2026】🥳✈
Travel the world in a single day! 🌍Join us on October 31 for the AFS InterCultural Fair (ICF) 2026. Meet 22 overseas exchange students from 14 countries - Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland, Turkey, the United States, and Venezuela. Explore diverse cultures through hands-on activities, and discover how close the world really is. You'll discover that the world is truly within reach! 🥰

Through interactive classroom experiences and engaging activities, you will talk, learn, and share directly with exchange students, turning "culture" from a textbook concept into a firsthand experience. 🌍💬

The 20th AFS InterCultural Fair 2026 is co-organized with Concordia Lutheran School and supported by the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council. ICF attracts around 600 students from over 30 schools each year. It brings together youth from diverse backgrounds to plant the seeds of multiculturalism across campuses.
