In Hong Kong, over 300,000 Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) represent roughly 10% of the total local workforce and sustain over 10% of local households. By providing vital childcare, elderly care, and housekeeping, they serve as an indispensable economic cornerstone.🧑‍🍼🤝

Despite their critical contribution, MDWs remain one of the most marginalized segments of Hong Kong society. They must navigate strict immigration policies, low wages, and systemic vulnerabilities that leave them to substandard working conditions, and restricted access to vital social and educational services.

💁Workforce development is a vital tool for empowerment.‼️

✨Thanks to CAF America , we are able to sustain our program providing life and work skills trainings to the MDWs community! 🆙

Elevating skills supports MDWs to maintain their current employment and secure better income protection, 📈opens up pathways and equips them to actively defend their rights against exploitation.

✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us for a milestone night. We are proud to announce that MFMW successfully hosted our 45th Anniversary Gala Dinner and charity auction on the 10th June 2026, raising a total of HK$900,000 to support migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong.✨
