The CSG Day will be held this Friday, with different fun activities prepared for you. You may get to know more about volunteering by playing our game booths, and have a taste of hot chocolate and cookies afterwards. There will also be games booths and photo booths set up by representatives from UNICEF Young Envoys.

The Community Service Group is now recruiting new committee members for the academic year 17/18! We would be offering a wide variety of service opportunities exclusively to our committee members. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for the minds and dignity, equality and freedom for their spirits.”

Ironically, hunger is the world’s number one health risk. It has killed more people every year than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined. Hunger is no game. World hunger is a terrible symptom of world poverty. Want to learn more? Join the poverty lunch! As a responsible global citizen, besides treasuring food and resources that we enjoy, we can do more! Experience the differences between rich and poor and know the severity of famine. Below are the details of the activity:

Date: 24th April 2017 (first day after Easter holiday!)
Time: 12:40-13:25
Venue: Covered Playground

You need not bring lunch as it will be provided during the activity. IB students can also join this activity for CAS!!

Interested in Joining the UNICEF Young Envoy programme next year and want to learn more about children’s rights?

A game booth concerning children’s rights and the work of UNICEF was held last Thursday by our UNICEF Young Envoys this year, Adrian and Christian.
