The Foundation for Art and Culture is honoured to lead the revitalisation of Haw Par Mansion, establishing it as an international villa for the arts: Villa Haw Par – Hong Kong’s first cultural villa and a visionary “Embassy for Cultures.” This landmark initiative marks a new chapter in the city’s cultural evolution, celebrating its heritage while driven by a commitment to artistic excellence and global prestige.

Inspired by iconic institutions such as Villa Medici in Rome and Villa Albertine in the United States, the Villa will reframe the role of historic spaces in contemporary culture, setting a new regional benchmark for creativity and collaboration.

Rooted in community and open to the world, Villa Haw Par will be more than a place; it will be a legacy, one that belongs to everyone. The Foundation welcomes future collaborators to shape this bold new chapter together.

“When masterpieces travel, they build quiet bridges between cultures.”

From September 2024 to February 2025, the Bund One Art Museum in Shanghai hosted a landmark exhibition: “Picasso, Modigliani & Modern Art: Masterpieces from LaM”, co-organised by (LaM – Lille Métropole Museum of Modern Art), Tix Media, , and the Foundation for Art and Culture.

The show brought together 61 works by iconic figures of the French avant-garde, from Picasso and Léger to Miró and Braque, and marked a historic moment for Amedeo Modigliani in China, with the largest display of his works ever exhibited in the country.

The exhibition, structured in four thematic chapters, explored the early 20th-century explosion of form, color, and dream imagery through the eyes of visionary collectors Roger Dutilleul and Jean Masurel, whose gifts laid the foundation of the LaM collection.

Officially part of the 2024 China–France Year of Cultural Tourism, the project was supported by the French Embassy in China, the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, and the Shanghai Foreign Cultural Exchange Association.

We are proud to have supported this cultural bridge, one that reaffirmed the universal language of modern art, and the enduring legacy of those who collect and preserve it.

Housed in a former industrial building in Aubervilliers, just outside Paris, POUSH has become one of the most vital and expansive artist communities in France today. This unique space brings together over 250 artists, curators, and creatives working side by side in a place where production, experimentation, and public engagement intersect.

Since its founding, POUSH has grown into more than a studio complex, it’s a cultural ecosystem where emerging and established voices co-exist, creating new possibilities for dialogue across disciplines and generations.

As part of Paris’s shifting cultural geography, POUSH plays an essential role in redefining how contemporary art is produced, exhibited, and experienced.

We are always proud to support and collaborate with spaces and projects like this: places that nurture artistic practice and expression with care and bold vision.

Culture has the power to transform and shape the world, and museums are at the heart of this transformation. They bring together diverse perspectives, foster understanding across borders, and serve as catalysts for positive change.

On 28–29 March 2025, we were proud to be part of this global conversation at the Museum Summit, hosted by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. The summit, held under the theme “Going Beyond”, was co-organised with Musée Guimet – National Museum of Asian Arts (France), led by its President Yannick Lintz. It brought together museum leaders and cultural institutions from around the world to discuss the evolving role of museums in today’s world. This dialogue reinforced the idea that museums are not just places to preserve history — they are dynamic spaces for connection, innovation, and the exchange of ideas that shape our future.

Culture for a better world is the guiding principle behind everything we do. We believe in the transformative power of culture to foster understanding, bridge divides, and create lasting impact. By supporting museums and cultural institutions, we contribute to a more inclusive and connected world.
