Notice of Rescheduled Performance

Due to unstable weather conditions, the "Together We Go" Community Touring Performance originally scheduled for May 3, 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at Tin Yuet Piazza, Tin Yuet Estate, Tin Shui Wai has been rescheduled. The rescheduled performance will now take place on June 7, 2026 from from 3 PM to 3:30 PM at Tin Yiu Community Centre, Tin Shui Wai. Thank you for your attention.

Musical: The Man in the Ceiling

當夢想撞上天花板，想像力帶你衝破極限。

《仰望翱翔時》由普立茲得主漫畫家朱爾斯．費佛編劇，曾獲東尼獎提名的作曲家安德魯．利帕譜曲，香港版由著名音樂劇作詞家岑偉宗創作粵語歌詞，人氣音樂劇《大狀王》精英與一眾傑出演員攜手，頌揚創意、堅毅與勇敢追夢的精神，是一齣振奮人心的音樂劇。

故事：12歲的吉米夢想成為漫畫家，但父親不以為然，母親無暇理會，叔叔則為他沒有起色的音樂劇生涯一蹶不振。吉米感到孤立無援，抬頭望天，發現天花板上的那人早已準備好，引領他跟隨命運的呼喚。

音樂夢劇場推行2026-27「十八有藝— 元朗社區演藝計劃」—《踏歌同行》音樂劇計劃，透過可延續及深化、多元互動的一系列全年藝術活動，在區內推廣音樂劇及文化藝術。

我們的「社區藝團」，現誠邀18歲或以上、曾接受基礎音樂劇訓練的社區人士參加遴選。成功入選的團員將接受為期8個月的音樂劇培訓，並有機會參與多場精彩演出。

遴選：2026年5-6月
音樂劇培訓：2026年7月至2027年2月（共27節）
演出：2027年1月及2月

Organised by Musical Dreams Theatrical, the 2026-27 "18dART — Community Arts Scheme in Yuen Long" — "Together We Go" Musical Theatre Scheme brings a sustainable, year-round musical theatre programme to Yuen Long.

Our Community Performance Troupe cordially invites individuals aged 18 or above with foundational musical theatre training to audition. Successful candidates will undergo an eight-month professional training programme and have the opportunity to take part in a number of performances.

Audition: May-Jun 2026
Musical Theatre Training: Jul 2026 - Feb 2027 (27 sessions in total)
Performances: Jan and Feb 2027

🕺🏼🎤💃🏼遴選內容 Audition Requirements：
1. 舞蹈 Dance：
參加者將在導師指導下學習一段舞步，隨即進行分組展示。
Participants will learn a short routine led by the instructor, followed by a group demonstration.

2. 歌唱 Singing：
參加者須自選一首音樂劇歌曲，並進行約一分鐘的清唱(無伴奏演唱)。歌曲須為英文或廣東話 (英文優先)。
Participants should prepare a one-minute excerpt from a musical theatre song of their choice, and sing it without accompaniment. The song should be in English or Cantonese (English is preferred).

📆 申請人只需參加以下其中一節 Attend ONE session only：
(1) 31.5.2026 (日Sun) 13:15-15:15
天水圍天暉路社區會堂 Tin Fai Road Community Hall, Tin Shui Wai

* 適合18歲或以上具備基礎音樂劇訓練的人士參與 Open to individuals aged 18 or above with foundational training in musical theatre

* 名額有限，取錄以先到先得之方式處理。曾參與2025-26《追夢時光》總結演出之學員、居於元朗區、於元朗區工作或於元朗區內學校就讀的申請人將獲優先考慮。
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis. Priority will be given to performers of the 2025-26 “Reach For The Stars” Finale Performance, as well as residents, students or individuals working in Yuen Long district.
