體育聯會比起香港大學學生會更早成立，其宗旨為向港大同學推廣體育、為體育學會爭取權益及作為學生會和體育學會的溝通橋樑。體育聯會由中央幹事和二十五個體育學會組成，協力向同學推廣各類型運動，包括較為「冷門」的例如棍網球、曲棍球、欖球……

Sports Association, Hong Kong University Students’ Union (HKUSU) was founded in 1912 and was first called The Hong Kong University Athletic Association. This association is under Hong Kong University Students’ Union and our main aim is to p

romote sports to members of Hong Kong University Students’ Union and being the link between 25 sports clubs and Hong Kong University Students’ Union. Furthermore, to monitor and assist our 25 sports clubs and intra, inter universities sports activities.

【Sports Association ExCo Recruitment】
Sports Association (SA) is now recruiting Executive Committee members!

SA is the representative body of HKU students in sports affairs. Aside from maintaining close relationships with the Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE), we are also dedicated to promoting sports to HKU students through organising various events, including the Inter-Hall and Inter-Faculty sports competitions, the Annual Intervarsity Games, and Registration Day.

Details of the Tea Gathering are as follows:

Dear All,

Nominations for the following posts of the By-Election of Sports Association (hereafter as the Association), Session 2025-2026, has opened on 15 May 2025.

1. Council Honorary Secretary [1 seat]
2. Council Past Representative [2 seats]
3. External Secretary [1 seat]
4. Welfare Secretary [1 seat]

The nominees shall be students of the University, whereas the proposers and seconders of all posts shall be Sports Councillors when the By-Election is held according to the Constitution of the Association.

Only Sports Councillors and Official Observers of Session 2024-2025 (except the President of the Association, Session 2024-2025) are eligible for the post of Council Past Representative.

The nomination form can be accessed at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VlrZOK_ggYKv217t7pyYBMN5kR4-rCgK/view?usp=sharing. Nomination forms shall be submitted to the Council Chairperson of the Sports Association Council.
