恭喜晒昔日願望童Brian成功考獲獎學金，遠赴英國修讀遊戲開發碩士學位！👏🏻🎓 自從2021年實現咗「成為遊戲工程師」嘅願望之後，佢追尋遊戲夢嘅腳步從未停下，一步步將夢想化為現實！

回想 2017 年，剛升中五、年僅 17 歲嘅 Brian 確診患上白血病。長達兩年嘅治療漫長而艱辛，比起身體上嘅痛楚，更難受嘅係心理上嘅孤獨感，以及康復重返校園後要重新適應陌生環境嘅壓力。😢幸好喺最迷惘之際，願望團隊陪伴佢走過陰霾，透過願望體驗遊戲開發嘅樂趣。🎮呢個願望不單止為佢帶來期待同希望，更成為佢人生嘅轉捩點，畀咗佢勇氣去勇敢嘗試同挑戰自己！💪🏻❤️

由當日抗癌嘅小戰士，到今入讀遊戲開發碩士，Brian 嘅堅持同勇氣令人動容。💪🏻一齊為 Brian 打氣，祝佢學業一切順利，期待喺不久嘅將來可以玩到由佢親自設計嘅遊戲作品！🎮🔥加油 Brian！🌟

【 | Wish Alum Brian Extends His Wish to Pursue His Gaming Dream in the UK! 🎮💫】

Huge congratulations to Wish Alum Brian on securing a scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Game Development in the UK! 👏🏻🎓 Ever since his wish to "become a game engineer" came true in 2021, his journey to chase his gaming dream has never stopped as he turns his dream into reality step by step.

Looking back at 2017, 17-year-old Brian was diagnosed with leukemia just as he started Form 5. The two-year treatment was long and grueling. Compared to the physical pain, the emotional loneliness and the pressure of re-adjusting to an unfamiliar environment after returning to school were even harder to bear. 😢 Fortunately, during his most lost moments, the Wish Team walked alongside him through the darkness, allowing him to experience the joy of game development through his wish. 🎮 This wish not only brought him inspiration and hope, but also became a turning point in his life, giving him the courage to step out of his comfort zone and embrace new challenges! 💪🏻❤️

From a young cancer fighter back then to a Master's student today, Brian’s perseverance and courage are truly moving. 💪🏻 Let’s all cheer Brian on and wish him the best in his studies! We can't wait to play the games designed by him in the future! 🎮🔥 Keep shining, Brian! 🌟

【 | Ready for Takeoff! Forest Fought Cancer and Achieved Her Aviation Dream ✈️】

💬 "Where does checked luggage go? How does it get to the plane so quickly?"
🤔 "With so many planes, how do they avoid collisions at such a busy airport?"
These questions constantly spun in Forest's mind—until she stepped onto the tarmac of Hong Kong International Airport to fulfill her wish! ✈️

Forest’s passion for the skies never faded, even when fighting leukaemia. Despite grueling treatments and painful complications like bone necrosis and brain lesions, she defeated cancer with strong willpower and faith 💪🏻. Now recovered and studying aviation ✈️, she couldn't wait to solve her burning questions backstage! 👀

Thanks to the Airport Authority Hong Kong, the Civil Aviation Department, and the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, we granted Forest an exclusive backstage pass to visit places that are rarely open to the public! She toured the Integrated Airport Centre and baggage handling system, and even took the controls of an A320 simulator, just like a professional pilot.! 🤩 This unforgettable journey fueled her passion for her future aviation career and flooded her path with hope and light. 💫

以為只係種植咁簡單？呢盆細細嘅草頭娃娃竟然成為咗小朋友最心愛嘅「新朋友」！

喺「與種童樂工作坊」入面，小朋友發揮創意，喺醫院設計獨一無二嘅草頭娃娃👀，再帶佢哋返屋企，展開連續30 日嘅種植任務。原本以為要家長催促嘅日常任務，小朋友竟然自動自覺完成👍🏻包括每日幫娃娃淋水💧拎住手機認真記錄「頭髮」生長變化 📸 佢哋仲會興奮咁同其他小朋友分享生長進度！😎

連家長都好驚喜：「冇諗過一盆咁細嘅植物，竟然可以令小朋友咁投入！」睇到小朋友藉工作坊培養出耐心，同其他同齡小朋友建立社交、互相學習同分享喜悅，呢份收穫超乎預期！🥳

Who knew a tiny grass-head doll could completely steal the show this summer?

What began as a creative build-your-own doll activity in our “Planting Fun Kids Workshop” at the hospital quickly turned into an exciting 30-day challenge at home. The kids surprised us as they completely took over plant duty - watering their new little “buddies” daily💧, snapping photos to track their daily “hair growth” 📸, and proudly sharing their progress with new friends! 😎

“I never expected such a small plant to get my child this hooked!” shared by the parents. The workshop activity was far more than just growing plants, it also allowed children to build patience, and form awesome friendships. 🌱✨

「由細到大，醫護人員好照顧我又好錫我，可以同佢哋一齊去迪士尼開生日會，好開心呀！」— 願望童詠琳（詹詹），18歲， 脊髓性肌肉萎縮症

詹詹因病需要經常出入醫院，從小喺醫護人員嘅照顧下長大，同每位醫生、護士都好似屋企人一樣咁親密👨🏻‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️，而佢嘅願望就係成為公主👸，同一直用心照顧佢嘅醫護人員，開一場充滿愛與歡樂嘅生日會，向佢哋表達謝意。💕

大口環根德公爵夫人兒童醫院嘅孔希雋醫生，願望日亦同一班醫生護士齊齊換上詹詹指定嘅藍色公主配色💙，一齊慶祝佢18歲成人禮嘅大日子。🎉見到詹詹放下病人身份，無憂無慮咁變身公主玩咗一日，感受到佢願望成真嘅喜悅。詹詹雖然大小肌肉能力較弱，但係佢好努力咁克服身體嘅限制，為每位賓客親手寫感謝卡，令佢非常感動。🥹一齊聽吓孔醫生嘅分享📹

【 | 👩🏻‍⚕️Medical Team Join Tsim Tsim’s Wish Day to Celebrate Her Milestone Birthday🎂💕】

"Ever since I was little, the medical staff have taken such great care of me. Celebrating my birthday with them at Disneyland makes me so happy!" — Wish Child Wing Lam (Tsim Tsim), 18, Spinal Muscular Atrophy

Growing up in and out of the hospital, Tsim Tsim views her medical team as part of her family. Her wish was simple: to dress as a princess and host a 18th birthday party at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel to thank them for their years of love and care.

On Wish Day, doctors and nurses wore blue outfits to celebrate Tsim Tsim's milestone birthday. Dr Jacqueline Hung, from the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital at Sandy Bay, was deeply moved seeing Tsim Tsim set aside her patient identity and transformed into a carefree princess. Although Tsim Tsim has muscle weakness, she pushed past her physical limitations to handwrite thank you cards for every guest.

A group of Wish Children, parents, volunteers and Wish Alumni joined the very first event under Project Hope: Wishes for Future, which is under the support of Henderson Land.

The event was so full of energy🎨! On top of playing exciting, surprise-filled games together, Wish Children worked through fun challenges step-by-step alongside their families and volunteers. They became little pastry chefs to craft their very own unique donuts 🍩, taking home a huge sense of accomplishment and sweet memories! ✨

九月係「 #兒童癌病關注月」。🎗️對於淋巴瘤康復者柏悅嚟講，呢段抗癌旅程讓佢對生命有全新嘅體會。🌱

兩年前，就讀中六嘅柏悅因確診癌症而需要接受手術同密集化療，無奈缺席整年校園生活。🥺喺漫長又艱辛嘅治療日子裡，大自然同鳥類療癒咗佢嘅心靈🌳🦉，佢希望藉着一個願望，同心愛嘅貓頭鷹近距離接觸，學習點樣照顧佢哋同其他動物。❤️

【 | Bird Keeper for a Day, Pak Yuet reporting for duty! 🦉✨】

September is . 🎗️ For lymphoma survivor Pak Yuet, his journey fighting cancer has given him a whole new perspective on life. 🌱

Two years ago, while studying in Form 6, Pak Yuet’s cancer diagnosis required surgeries and intensive chemotherapy, forcing him to miss an entire year of school life. 🥺 During those long and grueling days of treatment, nature and birds brought comfort and healing to his soul. 🌳🦉 Through his wish, he longed to get up close with his beloved owls and learn how to care for them and other animals. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Hong Kong Ocean Park for their thoughtful arrangements, allowing Pak Yuet’s wish of becoming a bird keeper to come true! Not only did he get to meet his favorite owls, but he also interacted with cute sea lions alongside his family! 😍 He seized every opportunity to ask the professional animal care team questions, eagerly soaking up knowledge on how to care for animals. 🙋🏻‍♂️
