✈️ Choose Your HKYAA Flight Path!
On June 1st, applications open for both of our annual programmes, which serve students with two different level of experience. Choose the track that matches your profile:
1️⃣ Annual Aviation Programme 🚀
• Level: Entry-Level / General. No prior aviation background required.
• The Path: A 3-stage foundational course. Begins with a 4-week Pre-YAA Introduction Course (12 hours). Outstanding students proceed to Phase ONE (12 weeks) and Phase TWO (12 weeks) of structured ground school aligned with HKCAD PPL standards, paired with soft skills and exclusive industry visits (Cathay City, CAD, GFS, HKO).
• Best for: Anyone seeking a comprehensive, well-rounded foundation in the aviation.
2️⃣ Simulator Programme 🎛️
• Level: Advanced / Higher Prerequisite. Requires strong analytical skills and readiness for high-intensity training.
• The Path: A technical, 3-phase track mirroring the learning curve of professional cadet pilot training. Phase 1 includes 12 hours of 1-on-1 sim flying and 40 hours of ground school and workshops. Optional advanced phases cover Multi-Engine Instruments (Phase 2) and Multi-Crew Cooperation (Phase 3).
• Best for: Self-motivated individual laser-focused on a commercial cockpit career.
