WISE (睿動香港) champions sports for women and girls. Through sports, we advance women's and girls' impact. We are a registered charitable institution (IR91/16449).

WISE HK was founded in 2017 to encourage our women and girls to participate in and stay playing sports by promoting the benefits of sports. We aim to empower our women and girls to lead active, meaningful and self-fulfilled lives. Our vision is a world where women and girls can thrive without limitations and we believe sports are a powerful tool for empowerment and support our health and well-being. We believe women and girls should be able to participate in the sport of their choice and enjoy it throughout their lives so they that can benefit from the physical, mental and social benefits that playing sport can provide, as well as be able to use sports to build, practice and enhance life skills such as resilience, perseverance, communication and more, that will enable us to thrive. We believe that by promoting all sports to women and girls in Hong Kong, by providing more access to sports, by empowering women and girls to take charge and lead in organising and managing sports, we will foster their lifelong participation and enjoyment of and in sports, as well as raise women's leadership in sports. This will translate into achieving higher levels of social-emotional competencies such as emotional and mental resilience, self-esteem and self-awareness, as well as higher levels of life skills attainment, which in turn will translate into higher personal satisfaction, and personal impact in their community economically, participatively and healthily.

Go Go Goal! ⚽ Football belongs to everyone. Ensuring world-class sporting opportunities are accessible to young girls takes genuine collaboration across sectors.

WISE was proud to deliver an impactful community activation alongside the British Consulate-General Hong Kong (BCG) during Manchester City's Asia Tour in July.

Guided by City in the Community coaches and backed by BCG’s steadfast support, our teenage participants took to the pitch to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and celebrate the transformative power of sport. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and supportive, enriched by BCG’s staff volunteers who actively fostered an inclusive environment for our girls.

Thank you UK in Hong Kong for believing in our mission and making this joint activation a success!

We have officially wrapped up our 2025-26 school programs, closing out April strong by delivering our final 17 sessions across two local co-ed schools and creating a supportive space for their female students.

𝐄𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 is the engine for resilience, naturally fueling the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 required to maintain an 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 lifestyle. Through our 𝐀.𝐂.𝐄. school-based program (Active Body, Active Minds • Commitment • Enjoyment), we help teen girls discover that finding joy in the process is what takes them far in their empowerment journey.

While this academic term winds down, the next is already in motion. We are currently working to expand the A.C.E. curriculum for the upcoming academic year! A massive thank you to our school partners and community for growing with us – we are excited to carry this energy forward and expand our reach. 🚀

Team WISE has been running at full speed, successfully delivering over 20 program sessions across three local secondary schools this past month. ⚡️

We use sports to teach transferable life skills like confidence, leadership, and teamwork. By engaging in sports at a young age, our girls aren’t just building physical and mental resilience today—they are actively breaking barriers and setting a foundation of empowerment that will positively compound throughout their lives.

With more schools joining our spring roster, our momentum continues to build. We are excited to carry this energy forward and expand our reach! 🚀

💫Kicking off March with a look back at an incredible community event from late February! WISE was proud to be a supporting organization for the “Central & Western District Boccia Invitational Tournament, celebrating the National Games”. Hosted by the Love Inclusion Charity Association Limited —founded in 2025 by Hong Kong Boccia athlete Ho Yuen-kei —the tournament provided a vibrant platform for individuals of all abilities to compete and connect.

If you aren’t familiar with the game, Boccia is a Paralympic sport that demands precision, focus, and mental toughness. Initially developed for athletes with cerebral palsy, it has grown into a celebrated global discipline that illustrates how sports can break down barriers and create a competitive, yet universally accessible arena. It’s a great reminder that true athletic power comes in many forms—and requires strategic mastery to win! 🔴🔵

🌍Did you know that today is World NGO Day? This special day not only celebrates our mission but also highlights a fun trivia ✨: the visual identity of World NGO Day features a hexagon, symbolizing unity, diversity, and collaboration!

At WISE, our approach encompasses these values, creating a strong foundation for our impactful school-based programs that blend sports with essential life topics.

We want to take a moment to thank all our funders and supporters, both locally and globally! 🎉 Your contributions empower us to bring our school programs to more schools, educating and connecting teen girls for a healthier, brighter future. Together, we’re making a difference! 👐🏻

We had the privilege of hosting a workshop for university students at YCCECE last October, teaching the next generation of teachers about the importance of women in sports.

Recently, we were honored to join their partnership lunch to celebrate this collaboration alongside fellow changemakers from NGOs across Hong Kong—all teaming up to make a difference in our community.

Thank you YCCECE .sdo for the invitation and for the influence you have on the youth of Hong Kong!
