[Tree Appraisal Re-Certification Online Course, 21-24 Sep 2026]

This is a recertification course for the TREE APPRAISER to maintain the qualification.

This program is offered by Arboriculture Canada. It presents an immersive training experience that delves into the fundamental concepts outlined in the Guide for Plant Appraisal. Through expert-led discussions and comprehensive case scenarios, participants will acquire a high level of proficiency in conducting appraisals. The qualification is valid for three years and recertification is required to maintain the qualification.

*TRAQ Course & Assessment is recognised by Study Sponsorship Scheme of the Urban Forestry Support Fund, with subsidy up to 70% of course and assessment fee. TRAQ 課程及評估獲「發展局城市林務基金—學習資助計劃」認可，資助可達課程及評估費的70%。
The ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), by International Society of Arboriculture, provides a standardized and systematic process for assessing tree risk. The results of a tree risk assessment provide tree owners and risk managers information in making informed decisions that will promote the safety of people and property and enhance tree benefits, health, and longevity.
ISA TRAQ is widely recognised internationally. TRAQ holders are tree care professionals who have specialized knowledge in tree risk assessment.

Key Changes to the ISA TRAQ Program (effective 5 November 2025)
• Term of Validity: The ISA TRAQ credential will now be valid for seven (7) years, extended from its previous five (5) year term.
• Elimination of ISA TRAQ Renewal Program: To earn a new certificate for the ISA TRAQ credential after expiration, credential holders must complete the full ISA TRAQ program, including retraining and retesting. The ISA TRAQ Renewal program will be discontinued following publication of the updated program.

Other Registered Tree Management Personnel under the RSTMP may participate for optional CEA hours. The course participants with 100% attendance and 70% passing score on the written assessment shall receive a certificate stating 3 CEA hours earned. ISA Certified Arborist can earn 2.25 CEU by attending this course.

- CPD under PMSA: This is an "Official" and "Core" activity related to "Professional Practices" under the CPD Scheme of the PMSA. Holders of Property Management Practitioner Licence may earn a maximum of 3 CPD hours upon completion of the activity.

就近日有關高空攀樹工作的職業安全關注，國際樹木學會香港分部（ISAHK）作為致力推動樹藝發展的專業組織，認為任何高空樹木工作均應以保障從業人員及公眾安全為首要原則。我們亦相信，樹藝專業是推動城市林務的重要元素。

而安全的攀樹作業，涵蓋多個環節，包括：裝備檢查、風險評估、正確工作方法、良好溝通、空中拯救及安全管理等。

🌳在國際樹藝業界及本港樹木管理中，攀樹（Tree Climbing）及繩索系統（Rope System）一直是被廣泛採用的安全作業方式之一。攀樹師的工作範疇包括（但不限於）高空樹木檢查、修剪，以及安裝纜索等。

🌳現代樹藝攀爬技術，透過主繩、連接繩、錨定點、安全座帶及相關個人防護裝備，組成一個完整而有效的防墮保護系統。經充足訓練並具備專業資格的 ISA 註冊攀樹師（CTC），利用繩索系統進入樹冠作業，在全球各地均屬成熟且普遍採用的樹藝工作方式。

🌳升降工作台亦是高空作業的選項之一，但其可行性會受到樹木位置、地理條件、樹冠結構及鄰近設施等因素限制。

🌳以上各種高空作業方式，均需要接受專業訓練及考取相應專業資格，方可進行。

國際樹木學會香港分部（ISAHK）持續推動專業訓練及安全知識分享，定期舉辦攀樹師認證考試，並致力促進樹藝的專業發展。
