🎉 BIG MOMENT FOR US IN ASPAC JAPAN! 🇯🇵✨

Our project, Waste to Wonder 2026 惜食·種奇蹟, has just been named a Global Top 10 Winner of the prestigious JCI Crocodile Foundation SDG Community Grant! 🏆🌱

The exciting news was officially unveiled and celebrated on stage at General Assembly I during JCI ASPAC in Niigata, Japan —a truly unforgettable moment for the entire JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes team! 🌟

Securing this landmark USD 7,000 grant is a huge milestone. The JCI Crocodile Foundation Grant is all about backing high-impact initiatives that tackle real community challenges. For us, this funding means more resources to empower young changemakers, champion the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), and drive measurable, long-term environmental and social progress globally. 🌍💪

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐋𝐎 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭

The event was successfully concluded under the “Women in Leadership” initiative by JCI on 13th June, hosted by JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes, cohosting with JC Nadeshiko Japan and JCI Women in Leadership Commission.

With the official theme “Sustainability for Women”, over 20 female chapters from 10 National Organisations gathered to celebrate unity, empowerment, and lasting impact.

A historic highlight was the presence of JCI’s 5th female President Alejandra Castillo and 2027 President Candidate Nihal Zoroglu, alongside JCI EVP Abdullahi Attairu, JCI VP Isabel Simon, JCI VP Diem Phan, JCI 2026 World Congress Director Luis Angelo “LA” Sevilla, JCI Sustainability Commission Chairperson Anirudh Sistla and JCI Women in Leadership Commission Deputy Chairperson Rycho Cheuk. Their participation powerfully demonstrated JCI’s commitment to gender equality and inclusive leadership.

The convention beautifully aligned with JCI President’s theme of the year, “Lead. Connect. Evolve.” Sisters were inspired to lead with purpose, connect across borders, and evolve toward sustainable progress. Through meaningful dialogues, shared stories, and collective commitment, one flame ignited infinite impact.

This year, we are collaborating with JC Nadeshiko .nadeshiko, a Japanese JCI Women Club with 14 years of history, to bring together our APLLC event on June 13, 2026 (SAT) at Hotel Okura Niigata. Our President Connie Kwan, JC Nadeshiko Japan representatives and team visited the site for final preparations of the important event.

融入國家「十五五規劃」：全面綠色轉型，共建美麗中國

今年六五環境日，香港女青年商會全力支持環境保護署舉辦的一系列宣傳活動，與政府及社會各界攜手推廣環保理念，共建綠色未來。

活動今年在國家生態環境部指導下，由粵港澳三地聯合舉辦，以「全面綠色轉型，共建美麗中國」為題，積極融入國家「十五五」規劃。我們深感榮幸能參與其中，見證三地攜手推動可持續發展，展現區域合作的力量。

作為一直關注社會發展的女性青年領袖組織，香港女青年商會深信每一個微小的環保行動，都能匯聚成改變世界的巨大能量。我們於灣仔識「碳」館舉辦連續兩日的廚餘再生工作坊，與香港市民共同創造由咖啡渣再造的再生花盆。
