📣 文物講座2026 — 香港花牌工藝的承與創
花牌是香港日常生活中常見的傳統本土手工藝,常見於店鋪開張、神誕節慶,以至就職典禮和喪葬出殯等不同場合。花牌及其紮作技藝歷經時代變遷和革新,承載着豐富的社會與文化意義。2014年6月,花牌紮作技藝獲納入香港非物質文化遺產清單,成為該清單507個項目之一。
衞奕信勳爵文物信託聯同香港公共圖書館合辦講座《香港花牌工藝的承與創》,邀請「榮基花牌」第二代傳人蔡榮基先生及長春社高級保育經理黃競聰博士與大家分享這門傳統手工藝背後的故事,介紹在社會環境變遷及傳統框架下,花牌如何得以延續、創新和傳承。

📣 Heritage Talk 2026 — Preservation and Innovation of Flower Board Crafting Techniques in Hong Kong
Flower boards are a form of traditional local craftsmanship commonly seen in our everyday life. They are often used to celebrate shop openings, birthdays of deities, inaugural ceremonies, and mourn the loss of loved ones. Having gone through changes and innovations over the years, flower boards and their crafting technique carry profound social and cultural significance. The flower board crafting technique was included in the Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory of Hong Kong in June 2014, making it one of the 507 items on the list.
The Lord Wilson Heritage Trust, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Public Libraries, will present a talk titled “Preservation and Innovation of Flower Board Crafting Techniques in Hong Kong”. In this talk, Mr. Choi Wing-kei, second-generation successor of Wing Kei Flower Store, and Dr Wong King-chung, Senior Conservation Manager of The Conservancy Association will share the stories behind this traditional craftsmanship and explain how flower boards have been sustained, innovated and passed down amidst changing social and environmental contexts while remaining within traditional frameworks.
