Learning Beyond Classroom - 2026 Dragon 100
What if a fruit farm could become a classroom for learning about investment, sustainability, and community development?
During the 2026 Dragon 100 Programme, delegates visited the renowned Driscoll’s Ranch in Lijiang, Yunnan, where they gained firsthand insights into large-scale agricultural operations and Driscoll’s approach to creating sustainable value through partnerships with local growers and communities.
Joscelin Joscelin from Hong Kong shared:
“Visiting the farm and facilitating the Q&A sessions for fellow delegates was a truly unique experience. As a corporate trainer, I gained valuable insights into how commercial success, community impact, and responsible leadership can go hand in hand, which aligns with what I work with my corporate clients.”
We are especially grateful to Driscoll’s Driscoll's for their warm hospitality and swift arrangements, which enabled our delegates to gain deeper insights into the theme of “Heritage in a Changing Economy” through a unique and enriching learning experience. 🐉
This visit demonstrated how meaningful exchange experiences can go beyond cultural exposure, connecting participants with real-world examples of business innovation, sustainable development, and responsible leadership in action. 龍傳基金

🌎Innovating for Global Markets: 2026 Dragon 100 Delegation in Yunnan
Entrepreneurship isn’t just about starting a business—it’s a mindset that drives a city’s momentum. 💡
During the 2026 Dragon 100 exchange, delegates visited the Yunnan Entrepreneurship Association for an inspiring dialogue with Chairman Mr HE Jing. Building his business from the ground up, Mr HE shared powerful insights on resilience and staying adaptive in an AI-driven era.
For Shelly Sun, a first-generation Chinese-Australian lawyer and delegate, the visit offered a fresh perspective on balancing innovation with cultural roots:

“I was particularly interested in how Yunnan can preserve the creativity and craftsmanship of local artisans in an era of mass production. The discussion also highlighted how the e-commerce ecosystem supported by the incubator can create new channels for distinctive local products to reach wider, even global, markets. I found this a very valuable example of how innovation, entrepreneurship and cultural heritage can work together.”

Young, adaptable entrepreneurs are the bridge connecting global economies. We’re proud that this delegation continues to foster those cross-border ties. 🌏✨ 龍傳基金

2026 Dragon 100 🐉Navigating Complexity: What Does the “Next China” Mean for Global Business?
In an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape, what does “China” truly mean for different industries today?
In 2026 Dragon 100, we had the privilege of hosting Joe Ngai from McKinsey & Company, who shared key insights from his new book, The Next China Is Still China, written together with Nick Leung.
Meeting 100 ethnic chinese young professionals from all around the world, the session paired robust research from McKinsey with Joe’s practical consultancy experience. A standout moment came during Q&A, when Benjamin Lee, an entrepreneur from Southeast Asia, highlighted the challenges to unpack nuances to balance economic progress and cultural preservation. He appreciated Joe’s candid, research-backed sharing.
💡The Delegation visiting and provided insights on “Heritage in a Changing Economy”. While the opportunities in China remain immense, navigating them today requires strategic clarity and sharp wisdom.
Thanks our alum Bosco Leung for moderating the session. 龍傳基金 香港青年協會

🌳National Ecology Day | Heritage in a Changing Economy

On National Ecology Day, we are reminded that sustainability is about balancing environmental protection with economic development.

During the 2026 Dragon 100 Programme, 100 ethnic Chinese young leaders from around the world visited Dali, Yunnan, where they witnessed the remarkable transformation of Erhai Lake (洱海). Once affected by rapid development and tourism, Erhai is now a powerful example of how visionary leadership and thoughtful policies can restore ecology while supporting local livelihoods.

💡As valerie Valerie from the National University of SG National University of Singapore shared:

“The Erhai Ecological Corridor is a living example. It reminds us of the importance of leadership decisions. Our environment and heritage require carefully designed policies to thrive in a changing economy.”

By bringing together young professionals worldwide, Dragon 100 aims to inspire connection, collaboration, and leadership in addressing the challenges of our shared future.
