🩵【服務計劃組 - 「集合啦！動物獅友會」 之Seeing The Sky Walk 治療犬互動工作坊】🩵 已於 2026年1月17日完滿舉行🫶🏻

🐱本年度服務計劃名為「集合啦！動物獅友會」，以宣揚及普及動物輔助活動為主題。透過促進人與動物之間的互動，讓服務對象能在輕鬆愉快的氛圍下，與青少獅義工及動物醫生建立和累積正面情緒，有助放鬆身心並舒緩壓力🙌🏻。

今年計劃的第二次服務活動就邀請了 「香港導盲犬協會 」專業治療師前來分享 🐶。當日一共有超過30位青少獅參與，連同小朋友服務受眾，合共約有60人參與🤩！活動由青少獅義工一對一服務，引導兒童或青少年參加者 (部份為輕度SEN)在安全情況下體驗與治療犬互動，加上以遊戲形式加深服務受眾對動物的愛護及對動物權益的認識💖。

🩵【Service Project Committee - “Seeing the Sky Walk” therapy dog interaction workshop】🩵 was successfully held on January 17, 2026 🫶🏻.

🐱 This year’s service project focuses on promoting and popularizing animal-assisted activities. By fostering interaction between humans and animals, it aims to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where participants can build and accumulate positive relationships with different kinds of animals🙌🏻.

This is the second service project of the year, we invited a professional therapist from the Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association 🐶 to share their experience with over 60 persons of our Leos and some SEN children. 🤩 Leo volunteers provided one-on-one assistance to guide children interact with therapy dogs in a safe environment and used games to deepen participants’ care of animals and their understanding of animal welfare 💖.

🩵【國際關係及全球視野組 -埃塞俄比亞咖啡與烹飪體驗工作坊】🩵 已於 2026 年 1 月 10 日舉行！🌏 當日超過三十位青少獅來到「香港非洲文化中心」，一同走進「埃塞俄比亞」的旅程。

🗺️這次活動由居住在香港的非洲人親自教授青少獅烹製非洲傳統的飲品和食物，讓青少獅更深感受到埃塞俄比亞的風土人情與文化魅力。他們更安排了非洲傳統風味的自助晚餐讓青少師品嚐當地的美食，大家都食得津津有味😋。

🇪🇹埃塞俄比亞的咖啡文化與傳統美食，正是非洲多元文化的生動縮影——從獨特的咖啡儀式到風味濃郁的家常菜品，每一步都浸透着當地的生活習俗與人文底蘊🛖。

🩵【International Relations and Global Vision Committee -“Ethiopian Coffee and Culinary Experience Workshop”】🩵 was successfully held at the Hong Kong African Cultural Centre on January 10, 2026. 🌏

🗺️ The event attracted over thirty LEOs to join. LEOs learned how to prepare traditional African drinks and dishes from the Africans living in Hong Kong, allowing them to experience the unique culture and charm of Ethiopia. 😋 They also arranged a buffet dinner featuring authentic African flavors so our LEOs could enjoy local delicacies. Everyone spent a wonderful evening filled with the tastes and atmosphere of Africa 🇪🇹🛖.

🩵 【培訓及會籍組 - 「視」在人為口述影像工作坊】🩵 已在2026年1月4日於將軍澳香島中學圓滿舉辦，吸引超過二十位青獅在了解口述影像的發展和應用後，共同為視障體驗工作坊花絮製作口述影像🧑‍🦯。

活動榮幸邀請前域多利青年獅子會會長、清水灣獅子會創會會員、以及曾代表香港盲人總會參賽的視障運動員任博輝青獅獅友作為嘉賓參與成品展示，他更分享了口述影像對於視障群體的重要貢獻😆。互動期間，青獅挑戰即場用言語刻畫區會會旗、本年度區會Logo及香港國際機場等熟悉事物，表現卓越。博輝以個人分享勉勵在場青獅在服務路和人生路上砥礪前行、不忘初心💪🏻。

活動當日是「世界點字日」，這一天旨在提升大眾對點字作為交流手段在確保盲人和視障人士人權重要性的認識，意義非凡。本次培訓期望透過推廣無障礙元素促成更多青獅屬會舉辦關注視障群體的高質量服務，攜手以「我們服務」精神構建共融社會🤝。

🩵【Training & Membership Committee - “Vision in Action” Audio Description Workshop】🩵 was successfully held on January 4, 2026 at Heung To Secondary School (Tseung Kwan O). Over twenty Leos participated, and after learning about the development and applications of audio description, they collaborated to create audio descriptions for the Vision Impairment Experience Workshop highlights video🧑‍🦯.

We were honored to have Leo-Lion Pok Fai as our guest for the final presentation😆. He is a former President of Leo Club of Victoria Hong Kong, a Charter Member of Lions Club of Hong Kong Clear Water Bay, and a visually impaired athlete who has represented The Hong Kong Blind Union in competitions. He shared insights on the significant contributions of audio description to the visually impaired community. During the interactive session, Leos took on the challenge of verbally describing familiar subjects on the spot, including the District flag, this year’s District logo, and Hong Kong International Airport, demonstrating outstanding performance. Pok Fai encouraged all Leos present to persevere on their service journey and life path, staying true to their original aspirations.💪🏻

The event coincided with “World Braille Day,” a day dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of Braille as a means of communication in ensuring the human rights of blind and visually impaired individuals—a truly meaningful occasion. This training aims to promote accessible elements and inspire more Leo clubs to organize high-quality services for the visually impaired community, working hand in hand with the spirit of “We Serve” to build an inclusive society.🤝

🪽飛越界限-青年「創．義」服務策劃大賽2025-26 🪽的開幕啟動禮已經在3月6日舉行～💡🎊
當晚有三十幾位比賽參加者和青獅導師出席開禮禮活動✨
透過簡單的破冰小遊戲，讓參賽者與他們的青獅導師都可以在初次見面中互相認識及建立關係🩵
參加者亦在青少獅區會介紹、服務策劃比賽章程簡介及籌備義工服務工作坊的環節裡，了解如何構思及實行有意義的義工服務活動📝 我們都非常期待在之後這三個月裡見證到每組參賽隊伍的服務計劃成果誕生💙

🪽 The Sky’s the limit - Creative Service Planning Competition 2025-26 🪽
The Opening Ceremony was successfully held on March 6th! 💡🎊

We were thrilled to have over 30 contestants and Leo Mentors join us for the kick-off event. ✨ Through fun ice-breaking games, participants and their mentors had the chance to get to know one another and build strong foundations for their journey together. 🩵

Throughout the evening—which included an introduction to the Leo District, a briefing on the competition rules, and a dedicated Volunteer Service Planning Workshop—participants learned how to conceptualize and execute truly meaningful service projects. 📝 We are incredibly excited to see the creative and impactful results from each team over the next three months! 💙

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Leo Mentors for your support. 💖 We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to our guests of honor: Lion Chuang Siu-ka, President of the Lions Club of North District, and Lion Kwok Chung-ki, District Chairperson (Leos/Leo-Lions Cabinet Liaison), for joining us and supporting the next generation. 🤝🫶🏻

🩵培訓及會籍組🩵
本年度首個活動 - 「視」在人為視障體驗工作坊已在2025年10月11日於獅子會蔣翠琼中學順利舉辦第一階段，讓青獅通過不同關卡的人生體驗以第一視角了解視障人士的挑戰。同場更設有盲文突字名片工作坊，讓青獅親手為屬會及個人定製具無障礙設計的交流名片。

青獅將在第二階段工作坊學習平時不易接觸的口述影像製作技巧，進一步提升日後舉辦關懷視障人士服務的質量，推動共融社會的長遠發展。

活動獲國際獅子會中國港澳303區香港北區獅子會會長莊紹嘉獅伯撥冗出席作為總結嘉賓，與青獅交流活動感想及進行答疑，氣氛踴躍。

🩵The Training & Membership Committee‘s first activity of the year - the ”Vision in Action“ Vision Impairment Experience Workshop - successfully held its first phase on October 11, 2025, at Lions Clubs International Tseung Chui King College. Through various life experience stations, Leos gained first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals. The event also featured a Braille embossed business card workshop, where Leos personally created accessible networking cards for their clubs and personal use.

In the upcoming second phase workshop, Leos will learn audio description production techniques that are rarely encountered in daily life, further enhancing the quality of future services for the visually impaired and promoting the long-term development of an inclusive society.

We were honored to have Lion Kant Chong, President of Lions Club of Hong Kong North, Lions Clubs International District 303 Hong Kong & Macao, China, attend as our closing guest speaker. He engaged with Leos in sharing reflections and conducting a Q&A session, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere.

🩵康樂及文化組🩵
首次活動「獅映霓虹：彩光下的傳統」霓虹燈工作坊已於2025年10月19日順利舉行。活動讓各位青少獅一同體驗霓虹燈牌這個傳統手藝，製作一個屬於自己獨一無二的作品。

The first event of the year organised by the Leisure and Culture Committee, the neon light workshop, was successfully held on 19 October 2025. This activity provided Leo members with the opportunity to participate together in the traditional craft of neon sign‑making, while also creating their own unique works.
