The Hong Kong Retirement Schemes Association (HKRSA) was established in 1996 to promote the interests and best practices of retirement schemes in Hong Kong including provident and pooled retirement funds. The HKRSA is a not-for-profit, non-political association, which represents retirement schemes and their members, providing a forum for discussion of issues of current and topical interest.

On October 6, we hosted a seminar "Leveraging Big Data for Personalized Member Engagement and Investment Strategies", exploring how data and tech are changing retirement investing.

We were pleased to welcome Dr. Don Huang from Aqumon, to talk about building a data-driven MPF intelligent platform, highlighting how data analytics can enhance member understanding and support more effective decision-making. Ricky Tang from BNY Investments shared perspectives on reimagining decumulation and developing bespoke models that better support members throughout their retirement journey.

The seminar concluded with an engaging panel discussion moderated by Rondy Wong from PwC, featuring Dr. Don Huang, Ricky Tang, and Ronald Lam from Mirae Asset. The conversation reinforced a key message: effective personalization is about understanding members through data, delivering relevant solutions, and building trust at scale.

Our Chairman Alan Young and CEO Hayly Leung delivered the opening and closing remarks, respectively.

On 23 September, we hosted the 19th Roundtable Workgroup Meeting, bringing together HR professionals and guests for an engaging session on key legal challenges facing the HR profession.

We were delighted to welcome Bernie Ng of Deacons as our keynote speaker. Bernie shared essential, practical advice on managing the new '468' continuous contract rule, executing fair workplace investigations, and safely integrating AI tools while protecting employee data privacy under the PDPO.
