🎵 《醫韻抗癌愛及時》慈善音樂會圓滿舉行

一場音樂會，匯聚的不只是樂聲，更是大家對癌症患者及照顧者的一份心意。❤️

香港醫學會慈善基金聯同香港醫學會於 8 月 16 日舉辦《醫韻抗癌愛及時》慈善音樂會，為香港防癌會「愛在及時」癌症關懷同行計劃籌募經費，支援 18 至 60 歲中青年晚期癌症患者及其照顧者，回應他們在抗癌路上除醫療以外的實際需要。

💗 是次音樂會共籌得超過港幣 370,000元。感謝各界善長及支持音樂會的朋友慷慨捐助，讓一份份心意化成實際支援，陪伴有需要的患者及照顧者走過抗癌路上的不同階段。

🎶 音樂會由香港醫學會管弦樂團及香港醫學會合唱團傾力演出，帶來多首經典樂曲及耳熟能詳的歌曲。音樂會尾聲更邀請現場觀眾一同演唱，台上台下以歌聲連結，為這個晚上留下溫暖的一刻。

當晚亦獲主禮嘉賓、各界嘉賓及中聯辦代表蒞臨支持，與一眾善長及觀眾共同見證這場以音樂傳遞關愛的慈善活動。

美食博覽是發掘各地美食、選購特色食品的好去處。今年到訪美食博覽時，不妨亦花幾分鐘，到衞生署「中央器官捐贈登記名冊」推廣攤位Hall 1A-B11了解器官捐贈，為自己及家人多一份認識與準備。🫶🏻
香港醫學會一直支持及推廣器官捐贈，希望透過公眾教育，提高市民對器官捐贈的認識，並鼓勵大家及早與家人分享自己的捐贈意願。
💗 登記器官捐贈，不只是作出一個選擇，亦是讓家人了解自己意願的重要一步。

Expanding Clinical Horizons: HKMA Medical Students’ Attachment Programme in Shanghai and Shenzhen

To enrich the learning experience of medical students, the Hong Kong Medical Association (HKMA) organised the HKMA Medical Students Mainland Hospitals Attachment Programme 2026, providing students with valuable opportunities to gain clinical exposure and broaden their understanding of healthcare practices beyond Hong Kong.

Following the June attachment at Peking Union Medical College Hospital (北京協和醫院) in Beijing, four medical students participated in a one-week attachment at Shanghai United Family Hospital (上海和睦家醫院) and Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital (深圳新風和睦家醫院) from 13 to 17 July.

Throughout the programme, the students gained a rewarding clinical experience through departmental visits, observation of specialist consultations, and interactions with healthcare professionals. These experiences provided valuable insights into clinical practice, patient communication, and the delivery of patient-centred multidisciplinary care.

In addition, students took part in one-to-one and small-group learning sessions with experienced clinicians, and had the opportunity to observe surgical procedures under specialist guidance. The programme enhanced their clinical understanding and offered meaningful perspectives on the similarities and differences between healthcare systems and practices in the Mainland and Hong Kong.

The HKMA extends its sincere gratitude to the United Family Healthcare (和睦家醫療), as well as the mentors and teams at Shanghai United Family Hospital and Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital, for their thoughtful arrangements and dedicated guidance throughout the programme.

With the successful completion of the Shanghai and Shenzhen attachments, the HKMA Medical Students Mainland Hospitals Attachment Programme 2026 has drawn to a close. The HKMA will continue to organise meaningful learning opportunities to support medical students in their professional development.

【🌍 2026年世界肝炎日】
📅世界衞生組織將每年7月28日訂為「世界肝炎日」，旨在促進和提升公眾對肝炎的認知與關注。🦠肝炎是由病毒引致肝臟發炎的傳染病。🧫在香港出現的肝炎病毒有甲、乙、丙及戊型肝炎。其中甲、戊型多為急性肝炎，較少惡化成慢性疾病；而乙、丙型肝炎若未及時發現並治療，容易惡化成慢性疾病。急性肝炎主要病徵包括︰🫩疲倦、🤢食慾不振、🫀噁心、🤮嘔吐、👀眼白變黃、🚽小便呈茶色或深褐色，但患者亦可能沒有病徵。肝炎一般維持數星期⏳，亦有少部份嚴重的急性肝炎病患者會出現肝衰竭⚠️，導致🧠腦部功能受損及死亡😵。

🛜肝炎有兩大傳播途徑：
🩸血液傳播（乙、丙、丁型）：透過🤱母嬰接觸、共用💉針筒/剃刀/指甲鉗，在沒有安全措施下和感染者進行性接觸 🫟。
🍽食物傳播（甲、戊型）：主要經糞口途徑，或進食被污染且未熟透的貝殼類海產🦪，如蠔、蜆等。

📊 按衞生署2020-22年度人口健康調查結果作推算🧮，全港約有41萬名慢性乙型肝炎患者😷，佔整體人口約5.6%，平均約每20位港人，就有一位患有慢性乙型肝炎。🔍當中近四成患者並不自知患有慢性乙型肝炎🤔，高達七成患者更未有接受適當的醫療跟進。🏥 因此，政府已在2026年2月推出「乙型肝炎共同治理計劃」，🎯從而及早識別社區中的慢性乙型肝炎患者並為他們作長期跟進，📉減低他們出現肝硬化及肝癌等嚴重併發症的風險。

香港醫學會與四川省衛生健康委員會代表團交流　深化川港醫療合作

香港醫學會昨日 ( 7 月 16 日 ) 與四川省衛生健康委員會黨組書記、主任鄧正權率領的代表團會面，雙方就深化川港兩地醫療衛生交流、推動醫學學術合作及人才培育等方向交換意見。

在國家推動高質量發展、科技創新及「健康中國」建設的背景下，區域協同創新及醫療人才交流日益重要。香港與四川兩地醫學界一直保持緊密聯繫，積極探索多層次、多領域的合作機會。

香港醫學會早前已與四川省醫學會建立合作基礎，並於今年共同舉辦「2026首屆香江天府醫學高峰學術會議」，聚焦體醫融合等具前瞻性及實踐價值的醫學議題，促進兩地專家學者深入交流。

在是次交流會面中，香港醫學會與四川省醫學以「雙城聯動」模式，進一步推動合作，包括啟動醫學生交流項目，以及建立更具系統性的醫學學術交流機制，積極培育具國際視野的新一代醫學人才。

未來，雙方將繼續深化合作，拓展醫學教育、科研創新及專業交流等領域，共同建設更具影響力的川港醫學合作平台，攜手推動醫療衛生事業高質量發展。

📊 根據官方截至今年 3 月的最新統計數字，本港仍有超過 2,500 名病人正等候器官移植。對他們而言，一個器官捐贈的決定，或許就是重燃生命希望的開始。

📢 2026成人免疫接種公眾教育計劃

🛡️ 保護自己與家人，由主動預防開始！

香港醫學會今日（7月13日）舉行傳媒發布會，正式啟動「2026成人免疫接種公眾教育計劃」。今年計劃踏入第5年，繼續推廣成人疫苗接種的重要性，並就以下7種常見疾病提供最新的成人疫苗接種建議：

🦠 新冠病毒（COVID-19）
🫁 呼吸道合胞病毒（RSV）
🌡️ 肺炎球菌感染
🍂 季節性流感
🗣️ 百日咳
🎀 人類乳頭瘤病毒（HPV）
⚡ 帶狀疱疹（俗稱「生蛇」）

💉 為鼓勵市民積極預防疾病，多位香港醫學會會董會成員更於發布會現場親身接種疫苗，以實際行動支持疫苗接種，並向公眾傳遞「預防勝於治療」的重要訊息。

香港醫學會自2012年起一直致力推廣疫苗教育，希望透過持續公眾教育，提高市民對疫苗的認識，協助不同年齡及風險人士及早獲得保護。

🌟 The HKMA Youth Committee Career Seminar 2026 Recap 🌟

The Hong Kong Medical Association successfully hosted the HKMA Youth Committee Career Seminar 2026 on Saturday, 27 June! 🎉

This year's seminar received over 110 registrations from medical students and featured an outstanding panel of 26 guest speakers representing a wide range of medical specialties. 🩺✨

Through interactive small-group discussions, students had the opportunity to engage in meaningful, face-to-face conversations with experienced doctors. 🗣️💬 Our speakers generously shared their personal career journeys, insights into specialty training, reflections on daily clinical practice, and practical advice on navigating the medical profession while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

We hope the seminar provided students with a deeper understanding of the diverse career pathways in medicine and inspired them as they plan their future. The HKMA Youth Committee remains committed to supporting medical students and young doctors through initiatives that promote learning, mentorship, professional development, and meaningful connections throughout their medical careers.

A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers for sharing their time and expertise, and to the students whose enthusiasm and active participation made the seminar such a success. We look forward to welcoming you to our future events! 💙

Learning in Beijing: HKMA Medical Students at Peking Union Medical College Hospital

To enrich the clinical exposure of future doctors, the HKMA organised the HKMA Medical Students Mainland Hospitals Attachment Programme 2026, and our Beijing cohort successfully completing their attachment this June.

As part of the programme, two HKMA medical students embarked on an intensive week of clinical learning at Peking Union Medical College Hospital (北京協和醫院, PUMCH).

Throughout the week, the students enhanced their clinical knowledge and practical skills through mentor-led ward rounds and residency simulation training. Meaningful exchanges with renowned professors and healthcare professionals fostered insightful discussions on clinical practice and medical education, while broadening the students’ perspectives on healthcare in the Mainland.

Beyond clinical learning, the attachment offered important lessons in professionalism, patient-centred care, and multidisciplinary teamwork. Through observing and engaging in daily clinical practice, the students gained a deeper appreciation of compassionate communication and collaborative healthcare delivery.

The HKMA extends its sincere gratitude to the Chinese Medical Association (中華醫學會) for its invaluable support and coordination under our collaboration framework, as well as to all mentors and teams at PUMCH for providing such a rewarding and inspiring learning experience for our student delegates.

The journey continues in July, when four more medical students will head to Shanghai and Shenzhen under the same programme to further broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding of healthcare practice across the Mainland.
