- A Toast to Collaboration – Celebrating Success at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2025
The curtains have closed on another remarkable edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, and the echoes of clinking glasses and fruitful conversations still resonate. On behalf of the entire wine community in Hong Kong and beyond, we extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Calvin Choi, Chairman of the Hong Kong Wine Judges Association, for his invaluable expertise and unwavering support which significantly contributed to the event's triumph.
The 2025 Fair solidified Hong Kong's pivotal role as Asia's wine and spirits trading hub. The numbers speak volumes: a grand assembly of over 620 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, attracting a global contingent of more than 8,200 professional buyers from 57 countries and regions. This convergence of industry leaders created a dynamic marketplace buzzing with potential.
Beyond the bustling exhibition halls, the Fair was a vibrant knowledge platform. A total of 45 events, including insightful seminars and immersive tasting sessions, equipped attendees with the latest trends and opportunities. The public celebration, "Wine Fiesta," was a resounding success, welcoming over 11,000 enthusiasts who discovered new favourites and deepened their appreciation in a festive atmosphere.
A standout feature of this year's Fair was the esteemed "Connoisseur’s Picks" selection. We are profoundly thankful to Dr. Choi for his dedicated efforts in curating this guide. His discerning palate and expert judgment provided an authoritative reference for both trade professionals and wine lovers, steering them towards exceptional products and enhancing their Fair experience.
The success of the Fair underscores the power of partnership. The collaboration between the HKTDC and the Hong Kong Wine Judges Association, embodied by Dr. Choi's leadership, is a cornerstone of this event's prestige.
