我們是香港大學第五十四屆扶青社，本社 2023-2024 年度的內閣名稱為「青延」。「青」，取自於扶青的青，寓意我們十三位青年在青蔥歲月裡遇上彼此，希望在莊期裡一同創造屬於我們和社員的回憶。「延」，具延續之意，寄寓我們會延續香港大學扶青社的信念，攜手服務社區，為社會帶來溫暖和快樂。同時，「延」一字亦提醒著我們要延續助人之心，懷著熱誠籌辦活動和服務社員。

本年度的主題為「惜遇覓志」，我們盼望透過社務服務、社區服務、國際服務及專業發展活動，帶領及鼓勵社員珍惜相遇、把握機遇拓闊自己的眼界，同時積極地尋覓自己的志向，發揮所長。

本年度的元素為黃色鬱金香。黃色鬱金香寓意友誼、快樂和希望。這寄寓我們冀望透過一系列活動來鼓勵社員珍惜一同建立的友誼，並勉勵他們懷著希望尋覓自己的理想和志向，以回饋社會。

另外，本年度的顏色為霧黃色。其中黃色和灰色相輔相成，給予人温暖及平實的感覺，藉此象徵着我們期盼能透

過不同活動為服務對象傳達希望，把關懷傳揚開去，呼應本社的主題及元素。

We are Rotaract Club, HKU, Session 2023-2024! The cabinet name of session 2023-2024 is ‘Rotinue’, which is derived from “Rotaract” and “Continue”. Thirteen of us met each other in Rotaract, hoping to create lifelong memories which belong to members and us. Together, we hope to pass on the spirit of the Rotaract Club, HKU, to lend a helping hand to the needy, and thus spread warmth and positivity to society. Besides, Rotinue also symbolizes we always reminding ourselves to walk through our journey with the willingness to serve, also passionately organize upcoming functions and serve members. The theme of this session is “Seek Ambitions through Cherishing Opportunities”. Through our events in
four avenues, namely Club Service, Community Service, International Service and Professional Development, it is our goal to guide and encourage members to appreciate encounters, to seize opportunities and to broaden their horizons. In addition, we hope to inspire members to actively seek ambitions and embark on a path to reach their full potential. The element we have chosen for this session is the yellow tulip. The tulip symbolises companionship, happiness and hope; this embodies our desire to motivate members appreciate the friendships built
through our functions. The tulip also encourages members to search for their ideals and ambitions with hope in order to make contributions to society. The color we have chosen for our session is Misted Yellow. This color is a combination of yellow and gray, and exudes a warm yet calming feeling, symbolizing our wish to spread hope and support to others through our functions. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude towards our mother club, Rotary Club of Hong Kong, for their immense support. We look forward to seeing you in our future events!

【國際服務】「新」出援手
身處香港這個生活節奏極快的城市，我們往往忙於日常工作與生活，甚少停下來思考其他地區社區的需求。新加坡與香港一樣，同為高樓林立，然而在光鮮亮麗的背後，同樣存在不少被忽略的弱勢群體，包括獨居長者、低收入家庭以及基層兒童，他們需要大量的支援與關懷。

香港大學扶青社將於2026年6月在新加坡舉辦國際服務團——「新」出援手，盼望將愛與關懷帶到當地。我們的服務內容主要包括走訪社區中心，為兒童舉辦藝術工作坊、向低收入家庭派發膳食和進行環境保育活動，改善當地環境。

除了義工服務外，我們亦會體驗新加坡的傳統文化與歷史和旅遊景點，例如去新加坡著名的魚尾獅公園、探訪不同宗教寺廟，以及到夜市品嚐地道美食。

Bridging Hearts Across Borders, Elevating the Community through Services - Singapore International Service Trip 2026, June
Living in Hong Kong, a city with an incredibly fast-paced lifestyle, we seldom pause to consider the needs of communities in other parts of the world. Like Hong Kong, Singapore is a modern city filled with towering skyscrapers, yet it is also home to many overlooked individuals and families, elderly people who live alone, low-income households and underprivileged children who would greatly benefit from our care and support.

Rotaract Club, HKU will be organizing an international service trip titled "Bridging Hearts Across Borders, Elevating the Community through Services - Singapore International Service Trip 2026, June" with hopes of bringing love and care to local communities. Our activities will include conducting handcraft recreational artistic workshops to share knowledge and skills to underprivileged children, distributing meals to low-income families and joining a biodiversity conservation project to improve the local environment.

In addition to the volunteer service, participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into Singapore’s rich heritage by visiting the National Museum, exploring various temples and mosques and experiencing authentic local culture and cuisine in food markets.

If you are interested in joining us to spread the spirit of service in Singapore, we encourage you to take this opportunity to join us.

【Community Service】Visiting and Having Joyful Moment with the Elderly

Hong Kong’s population is ageing rapidly, and the number of elderly residents in nursing homes has been increasing year by year. With limited social interaction, many elderly people often feel lonely and isolated. A warm greeting and sincere companionship can bring comfort to their daily lives and ease their sense of loneliness.

Presented by us— Visiting and Having Joyful Moment with the Elderly provides an opportunity to connect with the elderly. With the support of Helping Hand, we will engage in games and photo frame making with nursing home residents, bringing joy and companionship to their lives. Through this visit, we also hope to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the living conditions and needs of nursing home residents, as well as learn ways to communicate and build rapport with the elderly.

March 13th is the foundation of the Rotaract Club. This year, we are going to hold a 5-day booth on the Upper University Street, near the main library, to thank you all for your continuous support!

We are the Rotaract Club, HKU, Session 2026–2027! The cabinet name of session 2026–2027 is “Rocendance”, which is derived from “Rotaract” and “Ascendance”. Rotaract is the place where the twelve of us meet during our university years and become one another’s most treasured friends. Ascendance carries the meaning of rising and striving for improvement, symbolizing our hope to enhance our events and raise the quality of our service continuously. We aspire to provide service targets the support they need, and bring warmth and strength to the community.

The theme of this session is “Allure Hope through Entwining Bliss”. Through our events in the four avenues, namely Club Service, Community Service, International Service, and Professional Development, our goal is to draw forth the hope within each member to serve the community, so that everyone has a clearer direction in service and grows together through shared progress. At the same time, we hope to convey care through different activities, allowing bliss to drift through every corner of the community. As members accompany one another and continue giving, we also aspire to create warm and joyful moments along the way.

The element of this session is the hyacinth. The hyacinth symbolizes hope and joy, carrying our wish that, through organizing different service activities, we can help our serve targets relieve difficulties and have faith in their daily lives. At the same time, we would like to encourage our members to sow seeds of hope through service, working hand in hand to pass on positive and uplifting energy within the community, and to provide practical support to those in need.

The theme color of this session is zephyr blue. Zephyr blue evokes a sense of steadiness and groundedness, symbolizing our gathering of members’ strength as we work hand in hand to bring strength and warmth to the community. We also hope to put into practice, through a wide range of activities, the spirit of striving for excellence, putting Rotaract’s service mission into action. This color resonates with our theme and element.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude towards our mother club, the Rotary Club of Hong Kong, for their immense support! We look forward to seeing you in our future events!

【Community Service】Creating Mooncakes with Recovering Friends for Mid-Autumn

In recent years, mental health issues have gained widespread attention in Hong Kong society, yet there remain many misconceptions about individuals in mental recovery. Although people in mental recovery may still experience mood swings, with proper treatment, they can also successfully reintegrate into society.

Presented by us — Creating Mooncakes with Recovering Friends for Mid-Autumn, an opportunity for you to interact with individuals in mental recovery. With the assistance of Fu Hong Society, we will be making traditional mooncakes together with individuals in mental recovery, hoping to help them relax and spreads joy. Participants can gain a deeper understanding of the feelings of those in mental recovery and learn how to communicate and interact with them.

The ceremony signified the commencement of the Incoming Cabinet and marked the official handover from the 55th cabinet to the 56th cabinet of our Club. 我們在6月10日至6月16日舉辦的吉隆坡國際服務團 — 「隆」愛共助已經順利結束。

在今次的旅程中，我們去到婦女院和一眾女性進行了擴香石和紙扇的手工活動。透過手工交流，我們不只聆聽到她們的故事，亦一同渡過了快樂的時光。隨後，我們參與了當地的河道清潔，合共拾得66公斤的廢物，親身感受到環境保育的迫切。最後，我們到訪了流浪狗收容所，為他們清掃了居舍和準備膳食，宣揚善待生命的重要性。

除了義工活動之外，我們亦參觀了當地的著名景點例如雙子塔、波德申沙灘以及雲頂天城世界，藉此感受到當地的多元文化和絢麗景色。

希望大家透過今次旅程除了可以擴闊視野和增進知識外，亦都渡過了愉快的時光，繼續秉持樂善好施的精神。

Our Kuala Lumpur International Service Trip — "Connecting in Love, Uplifting the Community through Services" held from June 10 to June 16 has successfully concluded.

During this journey, we conducted a handcraft activity with women at a women's shelter, creating aroma stones and paper fans. Through these crafts, we not only listened to their stories but also provided essential companionship. Afterwards, we participated in a local river cleanup, collecting a total of 66 kilograms of waste. We personally felt the urgency of environmental conservation. Finally, we visited a stray dog shelter where we cleaned the facilities and prepared meals, promoting the importance of treating all lives with kindness.

In addition to our volunteer activities, we also visited local attractions such as the Petronas Towers, Port Dickson Beach and Genting Highlands, experiencing the rich culture and stunning scenery of the area.

We hope that everyone not only broadened their horizons and increased their knowledge through this journey but also had a great time, continuing to uphold the spirit of charity.

我們在5月24日成功舉辦了第二個專業發展活動 — 「織」興之作 — 簇絨紡織工作坊。

相信各位參加者透過是次工作坊都能加深對簇絨紡織這項新興藝術的了解，並透過親手製作屬於自己的簇絨紡織作品留下難忘的回憶！感謝Tufting Time與我們合作舉辦是次工作坊，從旁指導各位參加者製作。

On 24th May, 2025, we successfully held our second professional development function — "Tufting Magic: From Yarn to Art".

We hope all participants gained a deeper understanding of tufting, an emerging art form, through this workshop, and created their own tufting pieces, leaving behind unforgettable memories! Thanks to Tufting Time for collaborating with us on this workshop and guiding the participants in their creations.

我們在4月16日成功舉辦了第一個專業發展活動 — 穩操勝「算」 — 算法和量化交易講座。

經過是次講座，我們希望加深大家對算法交易行業的了解，學到如何透過編程技巧達到自動化交易。同時認識到更多關於職業導向的分享 ，知道頂級投行的入職要求，受益匪淺。十分感謝Mr. Wong Tsz Ho, Jason為我們帶來令人獲益良多的分享。

另外，感謝姊妹社（香港扶青社）到場支持，期待以後繼續合作，舉辦更多不同的活動。

On 16th April, 2025, we successfully held our first professional development function — "Trading in Digital World: Algorithmic and Quantitative Trading Talk".

Hope every participant has gained a deeper understanding of the algorithmic trading industry and learned how to achieve automated trading through programming skills. Through insightful career-oriented shares, we believe participants have known more about the entry requirements of top investment banks, which were very beneficial. We would like to expand our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Wong Tsz Ho, Jason, for providing us with such valuable insights.

Additionally, thanks to Sister Club (Rotaract Club of Hong Kong) for their support, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration to host various activities in the future.

我們在4月11日成功舉辦了第一個社區服務活動 — 復活送福 甜蜜「童」行，我們非常感謝每位參加者的參與以及香港保護兒童會的協助並借出場地，活動才能夠順利舉行。

服務當日，我們跟低收入家庭的小朋友一起玩遊戲及設計復活蛋，令他們可以發揮創意。同時給予參加者接觸小朋友的機會，加強參加者的耐性和溝通技巧。

Co-organised with the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children, our community service - “Celebrating a Joyful Easter with the Children in Need” was successfully held on 11th April, 2025. Many thanks to all participants for your support. Moreover, we would like to seize the opportunity to express our gratitude for the enthusiasm and support from our co-organiser.

During the activity, we played games and designed Easter eggs with children from low-income families, enabling them to express their creativity. At the same time, this provided participants with an opportunity to engage with the children, enhancing their patience and communication skills. Once again, our Club would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the support given by the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children and all participants.
