澳門爵士樂推廣協會（Macau Jazz Promotion Association），
成立於2010年，為澳門非牟利文化藝術團體，旨在推廣澳門爵士樂
發展，提供本地樂手演出及學習的機會，為樂迷帶來高水平的演出
及活動，籍此突顯澳門的多元文化特色。
21012年5月本會舉辦"顧忠山三重奏"音樂會及大師班，邀請華人首屈一指結他手與其國際團隊來澳獻技；6月邀請香港樂評人及音樂節創辦人Clarence Chang舉辦 "爵士CD欣賞會"；8月舉辦泰國曼谷交流，拜訪泰國藝術大學（Silpakorn University）爵士音樂學系，團員除了參與體會其大學課程外亦與當地學生及樂手交流學習；11月本會與葡萄牙樂手協會（Associação gremio das musicas）簽署合作協議，促進澳門與葡國的文化交流；12月本會舉行首個大型系列活動「澳門爵士音樂週」，於一週內舉行七場活動，邀
請來自美國、法國、馬來西亞、香港及本澳的樂手，為近年本澳的爵士盛事，並得到熱烈迴響。此外本會亦積極參與本澳各項活動：參與文化局澳門國際音樂節《大搖大擺大炮台》音樂會、與民政總署合辦《爵士夠薑》黃昏音樂會、參與民政總署「綠化週」開幕禮演出、及於法國文化協會「保祖利新酒發表會」中演出。另外本會亦於澳門君悅酒店（Grand Hyatt Hotel）婚禮展擔任表演樂隊，及於SKY21舉行午後音樂會。
2011年5月本會首次邀請外地樂團來澳演出，舉辦了“WVC Trio
+1 2011中國巡迴最終站--澳門站”音樂會及大師班，得到本澳媒體
廣泛報導及熱烈回嚮；7月舉辦首次對外交流，組織了馬來西亞吉隆
坡之行，參觀UCSI大學現代音樂系及與當地樂手交流學習，為本澳
年輕樂手提供增廣見聞的機會；9月邀請台灣專業結他手張見榮舉行
電結他講座；12月於北帝廟前地舉行《九重奏之夜》專場音樂會，
突顯澳門中西共融的特色。本會亦組織樂隊參與澳門各項活動：包
括澳門藝術節鄭家大屋演出及路環石排灣郊野公園熊貓館前地表
演；亦於大三巴區知名酒廊Macau Soul及澳門威尼斯人酒店Cafe
Deco演出。
2010年暑假，本會組織大樂隊「Upbeat Jazz Big Band」遠赴上
海參加2010年上海世界博覽會之演出，好評如潮；11月於澳門望德
堂創意產業園區舉行一連兩晚《搖擺之夜》專場音樂會，當中本會
理事長李兆康改編了兩首土生葡人樂曲 “Coimbra”和 “Lisboa
Antigua”，其濃厚的中葡音樂特色使音樂會獲得空前成功。
現時本會以年輕樂手及音樂愛好者為主要團員，表演型式從小
型重奏至大樂隊皆有，最新型式為九重奏，為較罕見之編制。

The Macau Jazz Promotion Association (MJPA) is a non-profit art association from Macau established in 2010. The aim of MJPA is to promote jazz music to the Macau public and provide opportunities for local musicians, and therefore bringing out the multi-cultural characteristic of Macau. In May, 2011, MJPA invited the renowned modern jazz band WVC Trio+1 from Malaysia and hold “WVC Trio+1 China Tour 2011 - Macau Station” concert and master class, this is the first time the association invites professional group abroad, and receive enthusiast feedback and attention from the media. In July MJPA established the first oversea exchange program to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the program includes visiting the Contemporary Music Department of UCSI University and direct contact with local musicians. In Dec it came “The Nonet Night”, a concert by totally musicians of MJPA. It was taken place in front of Pak Tai Temple, Taipa old district, and flourished the east-meets-west characteristic of Macau. MJPA also joins different local activities in Macau, i.e. Performance at Mandarin House of Macau Art Festival and Panda House weekend gigs, etc. Furthermore, members of the associations have been playing at Macau Soul, located in the St. Paul’s Ruins district, and Cafe Deco in The Venetial Macau Resort. In the summer of 2010, “Up Beat Jazz Big Band” of MJPA performed as part of the Macau Dome programs at Shanghai Expo. In Nov 2010, two nights of “Swing Night” concert was hold at the St. Lazarus Church Creative Industry District, two Portuguese tunes ‘Coimbra’ and ‘Lisboa Antigua’ were rearranged by Mars Siu-Hong Lei, the Chief Executive of MJPA, the blending of European flavour and jazzy sound brought great success to the concert. MJPA now mainly consists of young musicians and music lovers, the performing form varies from small combo to big band, and the latest is nonet (nine piece band). Video clips from “The Nonet Night”
