After fierce competition, we are thrilled to officially announce the national teams advancing to the Playoffs of the Pokémon UNITE Asia International Tournament 2026!

Securing their spots for the ultimate showdown in Bangkok, Thailand on the 21st June are:

Group A (Top 1): Japan

Group B (Top 2): Philippines and Singapore

Group C (Top 1): India

These national teams will compete in a double-elimination format in a best-of-three series.

The stage is set! We are pleased to reveal the official Group Stage for the Pokémon UNITE Asia International Tournament 2026.

The 11 participating countries and regions have been allocated into three groups as follows:

Group A
• Hong Kong, China
• Japan
• Republic of Korea

Group B
• Indonesia
• Malaysia
• Philippines
• Singapore

Group C
• India
• Kazakhstan
• Kyrgyzstan
• Nepal

During the Group Stage, teams will compete in a single round-robin format, with all matches played as Best-of-2 (BO2) series.

We look forward to seeing these national teams showcase their strategic prowess, teamwork, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament. Stay tuned to our official channels for the latest match updates and results.

The Pokémon UNITE Asia International Tournament 2026, officially sanctioned by AESF, will kick off tomorrow.

The Online Stage will be held on 14 June 2026, and the Offline Finals will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on 21 June 2026.

This tournament is organized as a closed international esports scrim event designed to support the development and preparation of national teams and athletes for future continental and international esports competitions.

There are 11 participating countries and regions: Hong Kong, China; India; Indonesia; Japan; Kazakhstan; Republic of Korea; Kyrgyzstan; Malaysia; Nepal; the Philippines; and Singapore.

The AESF officially announced the launch of the AESF Club Commission during the 2nd Puyuan E-sports Summit, marking a significant step toward deeper collaboration and long-term development for esports clubs across Asia.

The announcement was made by AESF President Mr. Santi Lothong alongside Mr. Layne Le Kedeng, Chairman of All Gamers (AG Group), who was appointed Chairman of the AESF Club Commission.

Representatives from leading esports organizations including Gen.G, Team Flash, Dplus KIA, and Team REJECT were also in attendance, reflecting strong industry interest in the commission’s vision for regional club development and cooperation.

AESF was pleased to co-host the 2nd Puyuan E-sports Summit as part of the Puyuan E-sports Festival, bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders from Asia, Norway, Australia, Canada, and South Africa to exchange perspectives on the development of the industry.

The summit featured discussions on international cooperation, ecosystem growth, and the evolving role of esports clubs, particularly following the launch of the AESF Club Commission.

Beyond the summit sessions, AESF members attended an exhibition match between LPL teams Anyone’s Legend and Bilibili Gaming, followed by a cultural visit to Wuzhen as part of the programme.

Congratulations to 🇹🇭 Sripatum University (SPU) for being crowned the Panda Cup Champion after an intense and hard-fought Grand Finals victory against 🇮🇩 BINUS University (BNU).
