☀Watchdog New Chapter 「監護者」的新里程 ☀
🏫The new school year has been underway for some time now, and we hope everyone has settled into this exciting new chapter of learning, growth, and discovery.
At the same time, Watchdog's Hong Kong Centre has also embarked on a new chapter. The enhancement works to our entrance ramp have been successfully completed, making it safer and more accessible for children and families who use strollers or mobility aids to enter and leave the Centre. 🤩
In addition, our Hong Kong Centre has recently been brightened with a colourful new mural. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Art in Hospital (AIH) for partnering with us on this meaningful initiative. With their extensive experience in community arts projects, they coordinated and managed the mural project, helping bring this vision to life.
🖼️The mural is focused around two important themes:
💕Diversity and Inclusion
Through art, the mural showcases children of different cultural backgrounds and abilities, conveying the importance of acceptance, respect, and a sense of belonging.
🧩Community Engagement
The creation of the mural brought together community volunteers, Watchdog alumni, parents, and families to contribute to the artwork. Through collaboration and shared creativity, participants helped add colour to the Centre while strengthening community connections and putting the spirit of inclusion into practice.
We hope that everyone who steps into the Hong Kong Centre will feel the warmth and joy that Watchdog brings, and enjoy this renewed sense of vibrancy and freshness. 🎉
🏫開學已有一段時間，相信大家都已投入新學年的學習生活，迎接充滿成長與探索的新開始。
與此同時，「監護者」香港中心亦翻開了新的一頁。我們的大門斜台優化工程已順利完成，讓有需要使用嬰兒車或其他輔助設備的兒童及家庭，能更安全、更便利地進出中心。 🎉
此外，香港中心近期亦添上色彩繽紛的壁畫。我們衷心感謝在社區藝術項目方面擁有豐富經驗的非牟利機構「藝術在醫院」與我們攜手合作，負責統籌及推展整個壁畫計劃，讓這個充滿意義的項目得以順利實現。這幅壁畫以兩個重要主題為核心：
💕多元與共融
透過藝術展現不同文化背景及能力的兒童面貌，傳遞接納、尊重與歸屬感的重要訊息。
🧩社區參與
壁畫創作過程邀請了社區義工、「監護者」校友及家長共同參與，攜手為中心增添色彩，也透過合作與交流建立更緊密的社區連繫，共同實踐共融精神。
我們期望大家踏進香港中心時，也能感受到「監護者」所帶來的溫暖與歡樂，體驗這份煥然一新的氣息。 👣🎉
