導盲幼犬寄養-家庭招募中💕💕
💛寄養家庭是導盲幼犬成長過程中不可或缺的啟蒙導師。在牠們出生大約兩個月後，幼犬便會入住寄養家庭，展開為期一年的社會化訓練。在這段關鍵時期，寄養家庭將協助牠們認識及適應人類社會，為將來引導視障人士安全出行的重要使命奠定基礎。寄養期間協會會為幼犬提供所需的食物、日用品、醫療費用及專業訓練員的指導和支援。🐾🐾
🦮寄養時長：
約半年至一年
✅寄養家庭申請資格：
年滿18歲，住所能合法飼養犬隻家中幼童年齡為5歲以上最佳
能全天照顧幼犬，每日不會獨留幼犬於家中超過3小時
願意遵循本會指引，耐心訓練幼犬充滿愛心，樂意陪伴幼犬成長
體力良好，能滿足幼犬日常活動所需
💕💕Guide Dog Puppy Raising Families

💛Puppy Raisers play an indispensable role in the growth of guide dog puppies. At around two months of age, the puppies will move into foster homes to begin a yearlong socialization training period. During this critical time, puppy raisers will help them become acclimated to the sights, sounds, and routines of daily life, laying the foundation for their future mission of guiding visually impaired individuals. Food, daily amenities and medical expenses of the puppy will be covered by the HKGDA during the program. Ongoing training and support will be provided by our training team.🐾🐾
🦮Program Duration:
Approximately six months to one year
✅Eligibility:
•Must be at least 18 years old and reside in a home where dog residency is legally permitted
• Children in the household should preferably be 5 years or older
• Able to provide 24-hour care for the puppy, ensuring the puppy is not left alone for more than 3 hours per day
• Willing to follow the organization‘s guidelines and train the puppy with patience
• Caring and passionate about accompanying the puppy as it grows
• Physically capable of meeting the daily activity needs of the puppy
