青苗基金於 2010 年 11 月 成立。
上個月，青苗基金於香港賽馬會舉辦創會 15 周年紀念晚宴。當晚眾多成員歡聚一堂，共同回顧過去，展望未來，並藉此表揚諸多成員一直以來努力不懈的成果。
席間，主席金晋亭先生及永遠榮譽會長洪克協先生致辭時均感佩交併。現場播放了歷年珍貴照片的精華回顧，並向洪克協先生及洪明基先生贈送紀念品。整晚笑語盈盈，熱鬧非凡。
接下來，青苗基金將延續使命，繼續籌辦「香港傑出學生選舉」（HKOSA）及「青苗學界進步獎」（YASIA）。這兩項計劃旨在表揚香港表現優異的中學生，評選準則嚴謹且歷史悠久，於社會各界享負盛名——前者已舉辦 40 年，後者則逾25 年歷史（兩者在青苗基金成立前均由獅球教育基金會主辦）。
同時，我們亦致力於舉辦各類青年活動以提升社會意識與技能，特別是針對歷屆「進生」；並持續加強歷屆「傑生」之間的聯繫與情誼。
自青苗基金成立以來，一切營運工作均由成員以義務形式進行，成員皆由歷屆 「傑生」組成。
在這個重要的里程碑，我們衷心感謝各位成員、顧問、合作夥伴，以及所有曾參與本會舉辦的獎項與活動的學校、學生和青少年，在過去 15 年的踴躍支持。
The Youth Arch Foundation was established in November 2010.
Last month, we hosted a dinner at the Jockey Club in celebration of our 15th anniversary.
Attended by many Members, the evening was one where the Foundation’s past successes were recalled, our future plans discussed and the tireless efforts of our Members acknowledged.
Specifically, our Chairman, Mr. Hugh Kam, and our Honorary Life President, Mr. Peter Hung, both spoke in pride and gratitude and a montage of photos over the years was shown. Mementoes were presented both to Mr. Peter Hung and Mr. Marvin Hung and an enjoyable evening of friendship, laughter and fun was had by all.
The Foundation is fully committed to continue running our Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award (HKOSA) and our Youth Arch Student Improvement Award (YASIA) in the years to come. These schemes, which recognise Hong Kong’s best secondary students, are highly respected in the community, being both rigorous and long established, with the former having been run for 40 years now and the latter for 25 years (both by the Lion & Globe Educational Trust prior to the establishment of the Foundation).
We are also fully committed to continue organising a wide range of youth activities to foster awareness and skills, especially amongst past YASIA Winners and Finalists, and to continue developing the community and the camaraderie of past HKOSA Winners and Finalists.
Since the Foundation’s establishment, we have been run by our Members on an entirely volunteer basis. Our Members are all past HKOSA Winners or Finalists.
On the occasion of this special milestone, we would like to thank sincerely our Members, Honorary Advisors, partners, as well as schools, students and young people who have participated in our award schemes and other activities, for their continuous support over the past 15 years.
