At its core is the “Four Centres and One Hub” strategy, which aims to consolidate and enhance Hong Kong’s status as an international financial, maritime and trade centre and an international aviation hub, while developing the city into an international innovation and technology centre and an international hub for high-calibre talent.

On Wednesday, 23 September 2026, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong welcomed members to its 35th Annual General Meeting at Colliers’ offices in Central Plaza.

The AGM offered an important opportunity to reflect on the Dutch Chamber’s activities and progress over the past year, while looking ahead to the priorities and opportunities that will continue to support our member community. The evening concluded with a networking drink, where members connected and exchanged ideas in a relaxed setting.

The Board would like to thank Mr. Arend Oldenziel and Mr. Bert Bulthuis for their contributions as outgoing Treasurer and Chairman of the SME and Creative Committee, respectively, and warmly welcomes Mr. Raymond Kwee and Ms. Jackie To as the newly appointed Treasurer and Chair of the SME and Creative Committee, respectively.

On Thursday, 10 September 2026, the Dutch Chamber, in cooperation with the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the The British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong British Chamber of Commerce, hosted an insightful breakfast seminar on the evolving global tax transparency landscape at PwC’s Central offices.

The session explored the practical implications of FATCA, CRS, and the emerging CARF framework for businesses operating in Hong Kong and the region. With CRS 2.0 set to take effect and CARF introducing crypto-asset reporting from 2028, participants gained valuable clarity on new compliance expectations and emerging trends shaping the international tax environment.
