🌟Her Infinite Roads 🌟

Women have infinite choices and pathways for their future. This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating those who broke free from conventional paths and carved their own.

On Hong Kong’s most iconic street, Queen’s Road Central, we’ve transformed the street sign into a living gallery, showcasing the stories of female trailblazers who inspire us to dream bigger and explore new possibilities.

đŸšș Let’s celebrate the women shaping history and inspiring the next generation to create their own roads.

This Women’s Month, we’re not just celebrating women — we’re reaching back to support the next generation. 🎀

We are inviting you to join our campaign. đŸ€âœš

We’re asking our community to fund Empowerment Kits—special pouches filled with affirmations and a symbolic hair tie. But the most important part? The personal message from YOU. âœïžđŸ’Œ

Imagine writing a note to a teen girl in Hong Kong, encouraging her to believe in herself. It’s the kind of message so many of us wish we had heard when we were younger.

Growing up, many of us felt invisible in spaces that weren’t designed for girls like us. We needed someone to tell us that our voices mattered, that our dreams were valid, and that we didn’t need permission to take up space.

Now, you have the privilege to be that voice for someone else. đŸ—Łïžâ€ïž

These kits reach girls who are navigating the same doubts and barriers we once faced. Your words remind them that they’re not alone, that their potential is limitless, and that there are women rooting for them — even if you’ve never met. 👭🌟

If you’re searching for something truly meaningful to do this month — this is it. Join us 👉link in bio

Because empowerment isn’t just about lifting ourselves up. It’s about pulling the next generation up with us. đŸ’Ș

What an incredible day at AIA Vitality hub for the second edition of EmpowerHer Future! 💜

Watching young girls light up as they created vision boards, connected with inspiring role models, and learned personal finance through our life-size Monopoly game reminded us exactly why this work matters. These moments aren’t just educational—they’re transformative.

A heartfelt thank you to:
✹ Our key sponsor, HSBC Asset Management for supporting this program annually
✹ Our partners Louis Vuitton & Bookazine HK, who made this experience unforgettable with amazing rewards for the girls
✹ Everyone who generously gave their time and stories.

Special recognition to Zoe Pearson for opening up about her financial journey—your vulnerability created such a powerful learning moment for these girls. When they see real women navigating real challenges, they understand that success isn’t about perfection, it’s about perseverance.

Every girl who walked through those doors is one step closer to financial confidence and independence. That’s the ripple effect we’re creating together.

A special thank you to Wendy Mak and the Publicis Groupe team for amplifying the Invisible Tie campaign and enabling us to gift empowering kits to every girl.

To the girls who joined us: Your dreams are valid. Your goals are achievable. And you have an entire community cheering you on.

Here’s to building brighter financial futures, one empowered girl at a time! 🚀

St. Paul’s Secondary School (17/10/2025) | Module 1b: Life Paths

We believe in building trust, not just one-off talks! Our Inspiring Girls program facilitates regular connections, turning introductions into laughter, reflection, and long-term support.

With dedicated Louis Vuitton role models, the energy was contagious! Girls openly shared what drives them—from achievement to family—sparking meaningful discussions about values and defining success. We also revisited the crucial lesson: “Words Have Power.”

We’re nurturing relationships, trust, and belonging. Every smile reminds us why this work matters.

The hearts of our entire Inspiring Girls Hong Kong community are with the people of Tai Po. The recent tragedy has brought profound sorrow to our city, and we stand in solidarity with all those grieving, displaced, and affected.

In times of such immense loss, we believe the most immediate form of strength is togetherness. We have been deeply moved by the powerful wave of compassion across Hong Kong. From the first responders who worked tirelessly, to the countless volunteers distributing essentials and offering comfort, to every individual who has donated or extended a kind hand—your actions embody the resilient spirit of our community.

As an organization dedicated to building community and empowering through connection, we are focusing our efforts on tangible, respectful support:
- Mobilizing Our Volunteers: We are actively connecting with coordinated relief efforts to populate volunteer needs with members of our extensive network of role models.
- A Commitment to Sensitive Engagement: We understand that the journey of healing is long and deeply personal. We believe that topics of psychological resilience and recovery must be approached with great care, expertise, and timing, to avoid causing further distress. Our priority now is on silent support, practical aid, and emotional solidarity.

Inspiring Girls Hong Kong was founded on the belief that connection can uplift and empower. In this moment of collective grief, we see that same principle being lived out across neighbourhoods. We will continue to look for ways to support the long-term healing of our community, especially the children and families, with the sensitivity and care this moment demands.

We encourage anyone in need of support to reach out to the official, professional services available, such as the Hong Kong Red Cross « Shall We Talk »

Psychological Support Service (WhatsApp: 5164 5040) or the 24-hour mental health hotlines coordinated by the Social Welfare Department (2343 2255).

During our Narrative Therapy Workshop with ReSource Counselling, our role model volunteers explored how the stories we tell ourselves shape who we are and how we grow.

Through the session, they learned narrative therapy techniques and powerful tools to help girls reframe challenges and rediscover their strengths and resilience.

One exercise invited participants to identify the “gifts” in animals they relate to. This revealed hidden qualities of courage, calm, and care that often go unnoticed. As stories unfolded, so did emotions. Role models listened deeply, without judgment, realizing that sometimes being a trusted adult isn’t about giving advice — it’s about being patient, authentic, and curious.

By the end of the workshop, the message was clear: words have the power to heal, to transform, and to plant new roots of confidence and hope. đŸŒ±
At Inspiring Girls, we continue to build a community of role models who empower girls to reshape their narratives — to see not just problems, but the endless possibilities within.
Together, we can help every girl grow into her story — with strength, resilience, and pride. 🌟

Imagine giving a girl your hair tie. 💙
She might say it saved her entire day. 🌟
It’s moments like these that show us: we often underestimate the power of tiny acts.

The invisible tie isn’t about grand gestures.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about noticing someone’s struggle and stepping in.
It’s about the quiet moments that change everything.

Here’s what happens when women support women:
→ A struggling girl finds her mentor
→ A scared dreamer discovers her courage
→ A lonely girl realises she belongs
→ A future leader takes her first step
We don’t need permission to lift each other up. 🙌
We don’t need a stage or spotlight.

We just need to BE that person—the one who notices, cares, and acts.
Every girl deserves to feel supported.
Every girl deserves to know she matters.
Every girl deserves someone in her corner.

We can be that invisible tie—
the silent force that changes lives,
the unspoken bond that builds confidence,
the quiet strength that nurtures leaders.
Because the greatest power lives in what we give freely—in moments nobody sees,
That’s how we build a movement.
That’s how we change the world—one girl at a time, one invisible tie at a time.

When schools focus on mental health, they watch for:
- Acting out
- Obvious rebellion
- Loud cries for help
But many girls in Hong Kong are suffering silently.

The girls who need help most are often missed because they look like they’re thriving. The real warning signs are different:
- Quiet withdrawal from friends đŸ€«
- Constant comparison to others 👀
- Feeling “less than” everyone else 📉
- Worth tied only to grades 💯

Through our new program supported by NIVEA, we’re giving girls:
→ Real stories of women who struggled too, but paved their own paths ✹
→ A safe space with zero judgment đŸ«‚
→ A “sixth voice”—perspectives beyond their current scope of exposure đŸ—ș
→ Permission to define success on their own terms 💡
→ Workshops that build inner strength đŸ’Ș
→ A community that reminds them: You’re enough. 👑

Because loneliness isn’t about being alone — it’s about feeling unseen.

From 1 to 30 November, every NIVEA product sold at Mannings and Watsons in HK$1 goes directly to help girls in our community.*

💙 Remember, loneliness thrives in silence — but connection breaks it.
👉 Want to make an impact? Buy NIVEA at Mannings or Watsons this November!

*Total donation value will be based on final sales during the campaign period.

Thanks to Tatler Asia for sitting down with our CEO, Inùs Gafsi, and helping us share this important message! We appreciate the support from our amazing PR partner, PLUG Hong Kong, throughout this campaign. 🙏

Breaking the silence: how a beauty brand is tackling youth loneliness

A study revealed 56 per cent of lonely young people find it difficult to ask for help. Nivea has jumped in to solve this through a partnership with Inspiring Girls Hong Kong

High-achieving girls in Hong Kong are supposed to be thriving. That’s the story we tell ourselves. But listen to the girls
themselves and you‘ll hear something different. They feel ”lazy“. They’re drowning in academic pressure and dealing with bullies. And they‘re doing it all quietly, behind closed doors.
And it’s the same elsewhere in the world. A recent study by Nivea Connect Compass, conducted in 13 countries, revealed that one in four young people aged 16-24 feel lonely. 56 per cent of those feeling lonely find it difficult to ask for help, trapped by stigma that deepens their isolation.
In Hong Kong‘s intensely academic environment, this issue is particularly acute. As Ines Gafsi, chapter chair and CEO of Inspiring Girls Hong Kong, says: ”The girls who are silently suffering and internalising their struggles are being missed“ by those who are in a position to help them.

The challenge is that loneliness among teenage girls often looks nothing like what adults expect. There’s no acting out, no obvious red flags. Instead, it manifests as quiet withdrawal from grown-ups like teachers, social workers and parents.
Gafsi identifies several warning signs that parents and educators should watch for. The first is the trap of comparison-girls constantly measure themselves against peers and social media narratives, creating a hyper-competitive environment where they feel ”less than“. The other warning sign is creating only one definition of success, so that self-worth becomes conditional on academic achievement alone, leading to burnout among students.
The most effective response is creating consistently open, non-judgmental environments where girls feel safe sharing their whole selves. The key is looking for shifts from a girl‘s normal pattern, particularly distinguishing between being alone (which can be restful) and feeling lonely (which is distressing and a major predictor of poor mental health)
