Health class is one of our most popular class. Medical practitioners share their knowledge about health and daily tips to become healthier. During the class, there is time for exercise and fellowship, which benefit the bodily and mental health of our participants.

🟡Venue：ShaTin Town Hall Plaza (Hundred Steps)

🟢Walking Route: Start from Sha Tin Park (Lek Yuen Bridge entrance) --> Walk along the river from Lek Yuen Bridge to Tsui Yung Bridge --> Cross the bridge and turn back --> Return to Sha Tin Park along the river

🔵Walking Time：10:30am-1:00pm
Booth Location: Shatin Park

The proceeds from the event will be used to support retirees, volunteers and new development services for the organization.

Light & Love Kwai Fong Neighbourhood Elderly Centre - The Hong Kong Palace Museum Travel and Check In☺️

During the visit to the Hong Kong Palace Museum, the 22 of us took a close look on the Chinese cultural relics. Many people came to visit the museum and take photos. It is a good place for arts lovers and fanatics of contemporary culture.

Summer has just started. Every Wednesday, we only have fellowships but also “Happy Summer Break” activities. We jumpstarted with paper model activity, and the children had so much fun. 🥳😘🥰

Light and Love Tak Tin Home Care Services Centre 🥰

East Kowloon Diamond Age Team held a Summer Party at the Lam Tin (East) Community Hall on 8 July 2025. There were 60 local residents who participated in the event and together enjoyed a beautiful afternoon. 😊☺️

Many fun activities for the participants, there were games, singing performances and birthday celebration. At last, we gave out many gifts to them as well. 🥳

Light and Love Elderly Hostel: Outreach Dental Care Programme for the Elderly🥰

The outreach team provides dental care services at the Elderly Hostel to provide free dental care services yearly. 🥰This year, the service took place on June 18, 2025. Every resident went through the dental screening process, and each one of them got a toothbrush as gift. 👏

This time, we are making fried chop rice cake (驢打滾), which is one of the traditional desert in the Chinese culture. 😋😍The participants learned the all process of making fried chop rice cake, from choosing the right ingredients and measurement to kneading flour. The process was fun. 👏👏
