🌟 Last weekend, our board of directors, family, and friends had an amazing visit to Sunbeam Children’s Village! 🌈 We enjoyed a fun-filled weekend with a treasure hunt, making delicious spring rolls and dumplings, and getting creative with DIY mask painting and trick-or-treating! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to all the families and children who joined us—your presence made the day truly special for our Sunbeam children! 💖✨

Our 4-day, 3-night voluntary teaching program at the Sunbeam Children‘s Village has come to a successful conclusion! 🎉✨

During the summer vacation, volunteers from The Education University of Hong Kong shared countless unforgettable moments with our Sunbeam children at the Sunbeam Children’s Village. Through comprehensive educational support, we explored the themes of ”Sustainable Development,“ ”Embracing Nature,“ and ”Learning from Life.“ 🌱💚

🙏 Special Thanks
A heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers for their hard work, allowing the children to learn through exploration and grow through practice! Your passion and love brought this visit to life!

We also extend our gratitude to the Student Affairs Office of The Education University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Youth Development Alliance and the Youth Development Foundation, and the Rotary Club of Peninsula for their full support!

Throw back to one of the most memorable days this year 💭

✨ Celebrating 25 Years of Changing Lives at Sunbeam Children’s Village! ✨

The ”Changing Lives“ Gala in June was a heartwarming celebration of 25 years of love, hope, and transformation at Sunbeam Children’s Village in Baiwan, Qingyuan. 🌟
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—seeing both familiar faces and new friends was truly special!
Here is a recap of the night -
💛 Dorothy shared the inspiring story of how Sunbeam was founded and the incredible impact it has had on countless children over the years.
🎥 The most touching moment? Hearing directly from the kids in a heartfelt video—their stories, gratitude, and love for Sunbeam moved us all.
🌱 Raj spoke about his visits to the village, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges these children face—yet also their unbreakable spirit, joy, and family bond. Sunbeam not only provides education but also a childhood filled with play, laughter, and dreams.
🎤Rishika being our fabulous auctioneer and making the live auction a roaring success!
📊 Cicely highlighted Sunbeam’s 26 years of success and thanked the incredible team, donors, and volunteers who make it all possible.

🌟 Last weekend, our directors had an incredible time on a trip to Sunbeam Children‘s Village! 🎉

We spent the day connecting with the amazing children, sharing laughter over a delicious BBQ, and even rolling up our sleeves to make dumplings together! 🥟✨ The creativity flowed as we enjoyed some fun handcrafts too.

It’s heartwarming to see our children grow and thrive! 💖
