Last month (9 July), our squadron set up a booth at Harmony Nexus during S1 Admission Day! 🎉

Our cadets were there to offer a hands-on Flight Simulator experience, and to introduce our squadron and corps to our newest family members—DLKP❤️

We truly enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing the excitement of aviation together.

Immersive learning of Hong Kong's air guardians!!

Proud moment for 404 Sqn! 🎉 On 26 July, we joined the GAINS Module 1 co-organised by GFS and Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps.

We learned more about the Government Flying Service (GFS)—how it operates, the principles of aircraft, and we got to learn from fix wing plane, helicopter pilot and engineers.

So much inspiration, teamwork, and new knowledge—thank you for the great learning experience! ✈️🇭🇰

GFS OPEN DAY 2026

Over the weekend of March 29-30, our 404 Squadron had the honor of volunteering at the National Security Education Day - GFS Open Day! 🇭🇰✈️

It was an incredible learning experience for all of us. As volunteers, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the Government Flying Service operations. A major highlight was getting a close-up view of the GFS Active Aircraft fleet, including the powerful H175 helicopter! 🚁 We also got to test our skills on the flight simulator, which was a fantastic challenge.
We learned so much about aviation, public service, and the dedication of the GFS team. A huge thank you to everyone who visited our booth and made the event so memorable! We are proud to serve and look forward to the next opportunity!

Joint Squadron Activity with 405 Squadron (FPV Drone Session) 🚁*

On 14/3 meeting, we had a exciting joint squadron activity with 405 Squadron ! 🚁✨

Our drone flying section included a lecture on FPV drone operations and principles, followed by hands-on learning and practice.

Everyone gained new knowledge, improved their skills, and most importantly— had a great time together.🙌

🌟 PMCO is back! 🌟
Last Sunday (15/3), our squadron sent 5 cadets to join the PMCO (Proficiency in Map reading, Campcraft and Orienteering)—the program finally returned after years of pandemic break!

From cooking rice in a mess tin to mastering knotting, and sharpening map reading & orienteering skills, our cadets learned, worked as a team, and stepped up with confidence outdoors. 🗺️🔥🪢

Last Saturday, our squad gathered for an exciting cooking session where we learned how to use a stove! It was an awesome opportunity to gain hands-on experience and connect with each other while whipping up some delicious food.

From turning on the strove to cooking ingredients, everyone showed great teamwork and enthusiasm! Huge shoutout to everyone who participated and made this activity a success. 🙌❤️

🚀 **Reunited and Jumping!** 🎉

Last Saturday marked our first Squadron meeting after the Chinese New Year holiday🧧, and what a way to kick things off! We had an exhilarating rope skipping session that brought everyone together. 💪✨

A huge thank you to the Physical Assessment Flight for organizing this event, especially to FS LUI, Cpl LIN and Cpl NG for their efforts! 🙌

From perfecting our jumps to sharing laughs, it was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect and strengthen our squadron spirit. ❤️

We are thrilled to announce that on February 8, 2026, total 18 cadets participated in the Operations Group Parade at the Fanling Police Tactical Unit Depot! This is a moment worth celebrating, as it recognizes the hard work and dedication of our cadets, along with the invaluable support from their parents. 🙌

The parade provided a wonderful opportunity for the cadets to showcase their training achievements and team spirit. We encourage all members to continue challenging themselves, reaching for new heights, and excelling in future events!

A special thank you to the parents for your presence; your support is our greatest motivation! ❤️
