Congratulations to all the participants of this year's Creative Writing Festival accredited by the English-Speaking Union Hong Kong!

We were thrilled to see the talent on offer through so many wonderful stories and poems. The Creative Writing Festival nurtures original ideas and storytelling for children—developing not only their language skills, but also their confidence, imagination, and ability to express themselves. Through writing, young people learn to explore new perspectives, communicate with clarity, and share their unique voices with the world.

Special kudos to the participants of the Awards Ceremony who read from their pieces to an appreciative audience. Grateful thanks to our adjudicators Emma Chaudhuri, Lyons, and Gavin Coates, and to Leung for her ongoing support on behalf of the ESU(HK). The Repulse Bay provided the perfect venue.

We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Thrilled at the success of another LCM Speech Festival with over 2,200 participants this year!

This Speech Festival is about so much more than just winning. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore the magic of well-known literature through verse, prose, and public speaking. Each child has taken brave steps to learn how to speak with confidence and poise, develop their speech skills and expression, and connect meaningfully with their audience. We are very proud of all of them!
