Discover powerful stories about MDWs in Hong Kong, told through bold and inspiring art that gives women louder voice than ever before.

ART EXHIBITION "UNSEEN NARRATIVE: Raising Her Voice Through Art"

Join us at Quarryside on June 14-19, 2026 at 10:00AM -7:30 PM (HKT) for an inspiring art exhibition celebrating voices that often go unseen & unheard . Dive into powerful stories told through bold and beautiful artwork by MDWs Artist. It's a chill, creative space to connect, reflect, and get inspired. Donโ€™t miss out on this unique chance to experience art that speaks volumes!

This event created to showcase and exhibit Women's Journal Art Project in Partnership with PathFinders for Migrant Workers which is funded by HER Fund ๅฉฆๅฅณๅ‹•ๅŠ›ๅŸบ้‡‘ supporting by our venue partner ่ˆๅ€ Quarryside and Souvenir by Boloku.Clothing

A culminating public exhibition will showcase MDWs artworks and stories, challenging viewers to confront biases and foster empathy. This visibility seeks to deconstruct systemic invisibility and advocate for social justice by highlighting the often overlooked contributions and struggles of Migrants Community.

Designed to empower the rising voice of migrant workers in Hong Kong through Art by providing a creative platform to challenge patriarchal and societal oppression. Recognizing that Migrants Workers are often silenced and marginalized within both their communities and society at large, the initiative seeks to reclaim their agency, narratives, and artistic expressions as acts of resistance and self-affirmation.

The project comprises eight workshops designed to foster artistic skills and create safe spaces for MDWs to articulate their personal stories and experiences who has finished the training during Jan-May 2026. Led by professional artists and facilitators, these sessions encourage participants to explore diverse mediums, confront stereotypes, and celebrate their identities beyond societal labels. The process affirms their worth and promotes solidarity, emphasizing that their voices matter.

Ultimately, this initiative aims to foster gender equality, affirm their rights, and elevate their stories as vital threads in Hong Kongโ€™s diverse social fabric . This project not only aims to transform individual lives through art but also aspires to initiate broader societal change by bringing these crucial issues to the forefront.

On March 8 2026, our passionate PathFinders Ambassadors took to the streets of Central and Sheung Wan to share the special cards they co-created about maternity rights for Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs). Armed with their own drawings and reflective questions, they engaged both fellow MDWs and the general public in meaningful conversations about pregnancy, equity and female labourโ€™s rights.

๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒป Let's take a moment to say THANK YOU to the Migrant Domestic Worker (MDW) community in our city this Labour Day! ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿซถ

Behind closed doors, MDWs provide an often invisible care and support system that enables mothers with young children and daughters with ageing parents to be able to work. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™

Away from family and, in many cases, separated from children, with the hope of giving them a brighter future, they spend years - even decades - calling Hong Kong โ€˜homeโ€™. Yet, their time here can sometimes be lonely, disempowering and full of vulnerability.

Let's care and appreciate those who care for our nearest and dearest! Say THANK YOU often - and encourage them to take short breaks in their long workday to recharge and connect with their children! ๐ŸŒป
