New Program | 2027 Work Without Walls: The SDG Chef's Table 🌏
What can cooking teach students about sustainability — and working with others?
In The SDG Chef's Table, students explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through hands-on cooking, cultural discovery and community engagement.
Designed primarily for senior students and led by a UN SDGs Certified Trainer, the programme places SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals at its heart.
A sample five-day journey, based on a programme we've previously delivered for a Hong Kong international school, brings together cultural exploration, nutrition and low-carbon cooking, and a supermarket baking challenge.
One of the experiences involves cooking alongside students from a school for the visually impaired, encouraging understanding, inclusion and collaboration across different abilities.
Through these activities, students explore how sustainable communities, responsible consumption and social inclusion connect to everyday life.
The journey concludes with The Kitchen Game, where students put teamwork and partnerships into practice through a series of team challenges. 🤝
It's about more than understanding the SDGs — it's about discovering how everyday choices and working together can make a difference.
📅 March–May 2027
The full 5-day programme is recommended, with flexible dates and year groups. Activities and the central SDG can be tailored to each school's learning objectives.
