What an incredible energy at our recent LeadOn: Positive Communication Skills Masterclass Training! We are so proud of our volunteers who stepped up to sharpen their communication tools, all to become more effective changemakers in our community.

Through interactive workshops, our participants mastered active listening, empathy, and how to navigate challenging conversations to build deeper, more genuine connections with those we support every day. ❤️

In support of global "No Butt Day" in July, Plastic Free Seas , 在山田海 Here in Nature , and 大便妹，學環保。 大便妹, 學環保 are teaming up to tackle cigarette butt pollution. Join us to clear streets and gather data that will help advocate for a ban on disposable cigarette filters!

Your role: Collect and count cigarette butts on the streets.

We provide: Gloves and tongs.

為咗支持全球「無煙頭日」，Plastic Free Seas、Here in Nature 同埋 imsheeppoo 大便妹，學環保 正式聯手，準備向街頭嘅煙頭污染宣戰！💥

我哋現正招募義工，除咗一齊動手清理社區之外，仲會同步收集數據，為推動禁用「即棄煙草濾嘴」一齊發聲！即刻去牽手嘅義工日曆報名啦！

We've loved partnering with the fantastic team from the 299th East Kowloon Scouts Group over the past three years. Whether it’s community projects or volunteering in their personal time, we're always in awe of the incredible community spirit they’ve built throughout their entire organisation.👧⚜️🧒

They recently spent time:

✍️ Creating Caring Cards: writing heartfelt messages of gratitude that will be distributed to domestic helpers across the city thanks to our partner Enrich.
🥖 Bread Run: some members took part in their very first "bread run", rescuing bakery items from going to waste and delivering them to communities that need them most.

As you can see from the photos, it doesn’t matter the time or place—this group embodies the true spirit of scouting, making a difference wherever they go. 🌲✨

💙 Thank you, 299th East Kowloon Scouts, for showing us what consistent, joyful service looks like!

👧⚜️🧒 過去呢三年，我哋好開心可以同「東九龍第299旅童軍」呢隊咁好嘅團隊合作！ 無論係跟團體定係用自己嘅私人時間出嚟做義工，佢哋成個旅團展現出強烈嘅社區精神，每次都令我哋由衷敬佩！

佢哋最近又出動，做咗兩件非常有意義嘅事：

✍️ 手作溫馨心意卡：一筆一劃寫低滿滿嘅謝意，呢批心意卡將會透過我哋嘅夥伴 Enrich，親手送到全港各區嘅外籍家庭傭工手上。
🥖 麵包收集行動（Bread Run）：有幾位成員仲奉獻咗佢哋嘅「第一次」！將未賣出嘅麵包「救」返黎，避免嘥嘢之餘，仲即刻送到有需要嘅基層社區。

住喺旺角劏房嘅基層小學生，平時放學返到屋企，往往因為空間狹窄或者屋企人無暇看顧，遇到功課難題都好難搵到人幫手。我哋現正招募充滿熱誠嘅義工加入，為呢班小朋友提供功課輔導，一齊建立一個充滿支持嘅學習環境，幫佢哋重拾自信，愛上學習！✨

💡 做義工可以幫到咩？你將會：
👥 提供 1對1 或小組形式嘅功課輔導。
📐 針對學生最需要幫手嘅科目進行重點解答。

UPS volunteers get hands-on for Global Volunteer Month 🌍

We love it when our partners really lean in to support the community; and have been proud to see teams out in force across Hong Kong.

💛UPS and their partners at SF Express 順豐速運 - 香港 teamed up to host a "Community Healing" afternoon. Volunteers spent time enjoying tea, interactive games, and art therapy sessions to foster resilience and support for the Tai Po community.

🌾 At the other end of the city, volunteers got their hands dirty at a local farm—weeding, learning about native flora, and practicing sustainable farming techniques.

🧓With a focus on improving seniors' cognitive well-being, volunteers joined both workouts and communal cooking with elderly neighbours. We were touched to hear the seniors didn't want the day to end, even challenging our volunteers to a Rummikub match!

Thank you Team UPS for getting so hands-on with us, bringing warmth and vital support to others. 🤝✨

UPS 同合作夥伴 順豐速運 (SF Express) 攜手舉辦咗一個「社區療癒」下午茶。義工同大埔街坊一齊飲茶、玩遊戲，仲透過藝術治療，喺輕鬆嘅氣氛下為居民送上關懷同支持。

🌾 實踐永續耕作
另一邊廂，義工們去到本地農場親身體驗農耕樂。大家雖然整到一手泥，但由除草到認識本地植物，每一步都係支持緊本地生態發展。

🧓 陪伴長者 樂在其中
為咗關注長者嘅認知健康，義工們同老友記一齊做運動，仲大展廚藝一齊煮飯。最令我哋感動嘅係，長者們玩到唔捨得走，煮完飯仲要捉住義工「戰友」挑戰玩 Rummikub 添！🎲

A massive thank you to the brilliant The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology - HKUST student team at 180 Degrees Consulting ! 🎓✨

They just wrapped up a 3-month project with us, diving deep into our digital platforms to optimise the HandsOn volunteer journey. From creating an account, to signing up on the calendar, and the post-program experience, they analyzed it all so we can make better improvements!
