Give & Share Through Food: Egg Puff Workshop for Elderlies

The Sewing Mothers of Les Beatitudes hosted an egg puff workshop at the Sandy Bay SAGE elderly home. It was more than just food—it was a heartwarming opportunity for connection. The sewing mothers, all caregivers, experienced the joy of giving, while our senior guests welcomed us with laughter and wonderful spirit. Everyone truly benefited from this meaningful gathering.
Above all, we are deeply grateful to the Peak II Foundation for their support in making this intergenerational workshop possible.

愛連心的縫紉媽媽於耆康會何善衡夫人敬老院舉辦了「焗」雞蛋仔工作坊。這不單只是美食，更是充滿歡樂笑聲的交流。身為照顧者的縫紉媽媽們，享受付出的喜悅；而老友記們則以熱情滿足作回應。

Our Journey led by Necktie
Our sewing mothers came together to reflect on amazing past events, share individual stories from the last 10 years, and discuss how everyone has been transformed. The gathering highlighted the power of service, the joy of working side by side, and how it unlocked our hidden potential. Everyone is happy to help build a strong and mutual support network as we journey on.
It was more than just a time of celebration and reflection; it was an empowering confirmation that renews our commitment to serving the community.

我們的缝紉媽媽聚首一堂，回顧過去精彩活動，分享十年來的個人故事，細訴每個人的蛻變歷程。這次聚會展現了服務社群的力量、並肩同行的喜悅，更見證了大家如何發掘潛能。在共同前行的路上，我們樂於建立強大而互助的支持網絡。

Mission Accomplished!
In just 10 working days, our incredible sewing mothers produced 100 sets of beddings for families affected by the Tai Po fire, navigating logistics through Chinese New Year!

We also organized local pistachio cookies wrapped in colourful stickers to finish the evening with a sweet touch!

These locally made beddings are more than just gifts; they are a symbol of community love, bringing together fabric stores, sewers, printers, delivery drivers, and designers in a beautiful chain of love.



非常任務 - 完成！
在短短10個工作天內，我們這群了不起的縫紉媽媽，為受大埔火災影響的家庭趕製了100套被單，更要在農曆新年期間協調物流的挑戰！

我們還用彩色貼紙包裝開心果曲奇，為這晚畫上一個甜蜜的句號。

這些本地製作的被單不僅是禮物，更是社區關愛的象徵，凝聚了布料店、縫紉媽媽、印刷商、物流司機和設計師，形成一條美麗的「愛心鏈」。

2025 Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration x Egg Puffs
Approx. 100 guests of 5 NGOs from age 2 to over 80 years old prepared egg puffs together
and celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival at Union Church Hong Kong. Mr. Sam Chui of from
Ebenezer Cedar performed accordion with pianist, Ms. Joyce Wu, opened the event.
Special thanks to Union Church HK as the venue sponsor and chefs from Escoffier who
baked fresh cookies for us.
Guests from Madam Ho Sin Hang Home for the Elderly, St. James’ Settlement, and Caritas
Hycanith Project and Les Beatitudes sewing mothers all went home happily with mooncake
sponsored by Towngas. Special appreciation to Peak II sponsorship of the event.
大約 100 位 2 至 80 多歲來自 5 個非政府組織，於香港佑寧堂一同製作雞蛋仔迎接中
秋佳節。
活動由視障手風琴演奏家徐達明先生與鋼琴家 Joyce Wu 小姐合奏揭開序幕。
特別鳴謝香港佑寧堂場地贊助及 Escoffier 廚師團隊為賓客烘焙特式鹹蛋黃曲奇。
參與機構包括聖雅各福群會、明愛風信子行動、愛連心縫紉媽媽及耆康會何善衡夫人
安老院。所有賓客滿載而歸，謹此致謝包煤氣公司贈送月餅及崇嶺基金會之贊助。

Training on mental disabilities by St. James’ Settlement has been arranged for our sewing mothers on 23 Sep to further understand how to support building an inclusive community in Hong Kong Hong.
感謝聖雅各福群會於9月23日為愛連我心縫紉媽媽講解如何與復康人士相處。讓大家為香港建立一個共融社會。

Collage workshop via the upcycled neckties at RMHC Hong Kong - Kwun Tong House was facilitated by sewing mothers of Les Beatitudes and led by artist Grace Tam.
We all created mid-autumn themed art work to welcome the full moon and the festival.
Each beautiful collage was uniquely created by individual with their personal magic touch ! 譚慧瑜拼貼藝術家帶領愛連心縫紉媽媽在香港麥當勞叔叔之家慈善基金 - 觀塘家舍舉行領帶拼貼工作坊。
