PENGUMUMAN | ANNOUNCEMENT
Pada 2 Oktober 2026, Departemen Ketenagakerjaan Hong Kong secara resmi mengumumkan kenaikan upah bulanan minimum pekerja domestik asing dari HKD 5.100 menjadi HKD 5.220. Uang pengganti makan bulanan tetap sejumlah minimal HKD 1.236.
Kebijakan ini diberlakukan untuk kontrak kerja pekerja domestik asing yang ditandatangani pada atau sesudah 3 Oktober 2026.
Departemen Imigrasi Hong Kong tetap akan memproses kontrak kerja dengan upah bulanan minimum sebesar HKD 5.100 selama kontrak kerja tersebut ditandatangani pada atau sebelum 2 Oktober 2026, dan diterima oleh Departmen Imigrasi Hong Kong pada atau sebelum 30 Oktober 2026.
On 2 October 2026, Hong Kong's Labour Department has officially announced an increase of Minimum Allowable Wage (MAW) for Foreign Domestic Helpers from HKD 5.100 to HKD 5.220 per month. Food allowance in lieu of free food will remain at no less than HKD 1.236 per month.
This change will apply to all FDH employment contracts signed on or after 3 October 2026.
Hong Kong's Immigration Department will still process FDH employment contracts signed with the previous MAW, provided they were signed on or before 2 October 2026 and the applications reach Hong Kong Immigration Department on or before 30 October 2026.
