# # πŸ‡¬πŸ‡Ύ #64/74 NDC Staff Joins the Rest of Guyana in Celebrating Mashramani 2026

The staff of the #64/74 Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC)** proudly joined communities across Guyana in celebrating **Mashramani 2026**, embracing the vibrant spirit of unity, culture, and national pride.

Mashramani, commonly known as β€œMash,” is Guyana’s annual Republic Anniversary celebration, observed on February 23. The festival commemorates the country becoming a republic in 1970 and highlights the rich cultural heritage that defines our nation.

This year’s celebrations were filled with color, creativity, and camaraderie. Staff members participated in activities that showcased the diversity and talent of our people, reflecting the true essence of Mashramani β€” celebration after hard work. From wearing festive attire to engaging in community events, the team demonstrated their commitment not only to public service but also to national unity and cultural appreciation.

The #64/74 NDC remains dedicated to fostering community spirit and supporting initiatives that bring residents together. Participating in Mashramani is one of the many ways the Council strengthens its bond with the people we serve.

As Guyana continues to grow and develop, events like Mashramani remind us of the importance of togetherness, resilience, and pride in our shared heritage.

Happy Mashramani 2026.
