Today, the members of the Rotaract Club of New Amsterdam proudly join the nation in celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Independence in Guyana.

President Molandra and Rotaractors Garfield, Gahwona, and Rehana proudly represented our Club at the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) held in French Guiana and hosted by the Rotary Club de Remire-Montjoly.

Under the theme *“Environment and Sustainable Development in Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana,”* participants engaged in meaningful discussions, leadership development, cultural exchange, and collaborative learning focused on sustainability and regional impact.

We are proud of our members for representing our country, club and community with excellence while strengthening international fellowship and expanding their leadership experience.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers and hosts for creating such an impactful and enriching programme. 💙💛
