Trinidad & Tobago National MMA Championships — Fight Night Recap 🇬🇾🥊

A night of grit, growth, and big moments for Team Guyana at the Trinidad & Tobago National MMA Championships.

• Josiah Persaud (16) opened the night in the junior division, falling via first-round rear naked choke — valuable experience on a big stage.
• Ryan Cox delivered a composed performance, securing a unanimous decision victory after three rounds.
• Yehoshua Boodie showed strong striking and grappling, but lost a hard-fought decision on points after being outworked against the cage.
• Celvon Nadine pulled off a dramatic comeback, landing a roundhouse kick KO in the final round after trailing two rounds to none.
• Trevlon Clark started strong, winning round one, but was caught in an armbar in the second round.
• Zidhan Wray closed the night in emphatic fashion — mistakenly placed in the heavyweight division, he went on to:
• Win his bout via first-round TKO
• Take the main event against Trinidad’s top heavyweight, winning by KO in the final round
• Leave with two trophies: Heavyweight Champion & Main Event Winner 🏆🏆
