Happening Now: JCI Guyana Launches Phase 1 of the i-Mentor Essequibo Project🇬🇾
JCI Guyana, in collaboration with the Regional Gender Affairs Committee, Region Two, is currently executing Phase One of the i-Mentor Essequibo Project under the theme: “i-Mentor Essequibo 2026: Expanding Impact, Empowering Futures.”💯🚀
Through this initiative, youths on the Essequibo Coast between the ages of 15 and 20 are benefiting from skills development sessions aimed at strengthening their employability, entrepreneurship, communication and personal development competencies. 💼✨
What began in 2022 as a one-day initiative has now evolved into an eight-week developmental programme that provides structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experiences designed to equip young people with the tools and opportunities needed to succeed. The project continues to contribute to reducing inequalities and empowering youths through access to resources, guidance and professional support.⭐️⭐️
More than sixty (60) youths are benefiting from sessions being conducted in Anna Regina and Suddie, Essequibo Coast.😊
