The CARICOM Reparations Commission (CRC) is an organization established by the heads of the 15 governments in the Caribbean Community, to advance the cause of reparatory justice. It is functionally located within the CARICOM Secretariat in Guyana and oversees the work of the National Reparation Committees established in each CARICOM state. The Commission is charged with the mandate to prepare the

case for reparatory justice for the region’s indigenous and African descendant communities who are the victims of Crimes against Humanity [CAH] in the forms of genocide, slavery, slave trading, and racial apartheid.
