On July 17th, Hope Children’s Home suffered the devastating loss of their home to a fire. Since then, the journey toward rebuilding and meeting the needs of the children has continued.

Through Hands for Hope initiative, the Leo Club of Bel Air was grateful for the opportunity to make a donation to Hope Children’s Home on behalf of the children, offering our support during this important stage of rebuilding.

During our visit on Sunday, August 23rd, we met with the Home’s founder, Mr. Kenneth Finlayson, who shared updates on the children and spoke with us about their current needs. He also expressed his gratitude for the support.

We are grateful to have been able to contribute in our own small way and to stand in support of the children and the continued work being done to care for them. 💙💚

What better way to start the day than with good energy, movement and fitness? 🏃🏽‍♀️✨

The Leo Club of Bel Air was happy to join our fellow Lions and Leos for the Anniversary Fitness Walk hosted by the Lions Club of Georgetown as part of their anniversary celebrations. 💙

From the warm-up to the walk and the cool-down, the morning was filled with energy, laughter, fellowship and plenty of familiar faces from across our Lions and Leo family. 🦁

We’re always grateful for opportunities like these that bring us together beyond service projects ; to connect, build friendships and simply enjoy each other's company.

A special thank you to the Lions Club of Georgetown for having us and to everyone who came out and made the morning such a great one!

Last Saturday evening, the Leo Club of Bel Air gathered together for something simple, but very close to our hearts, packing care packages for the children of Hope Children’s Home. 🎁❤️

This initiative, Hands for Hope, was created to bring a little extra joy, care, and encouragement to the children through thoughtfully prepared packages filled with items we hope they’ll enjoy.

From sorting and packing to the little details that went into each package, our Leos came together to make sure everything was prepared with love and intention. 🫶🏽

It was more than just an evening of packing, it was an evening of teamwork, laughter, fellowship, and service.

And knowing that these packages would soon reach the children made every moment worth it. 💙

And just like that, Project Limitless comes to an end. 💅🏽✨

After five days of learning, practicing, creating, laughing and growing, we gathered today to celebrate the girls and everything they accomplished throughout the workshop.

The room was filled with smiles, hugs, cupcakes, laughter and plenty of proud moments as we officially closed out the programme. 🧁🎉❤️

The Leo Club of Bel Air gathered to celebrate these amazing girls and everything they accomplished. We presented each girl with a special certificate, cupcakes, special tokens, and Back-to-School gift packs as a small gesture of appreciation and encouragement as they prepare for the new school year. 🎓🎁🧁

Looking back at the beginning of the week, it was beautiful to see how far the girls came, from learning the foundations of nail preparation to creating designs and putting their own creativity into their work. 💅🏽✨

But beyond the nails, Project Limitless was about creating an opportunity for the girls to learn, grow, and discover something new, while reminding them that their circumstances don't have to determine how far they go. Their potential is limitless. ✨

A huge thank you to Nail Room and Spa International for sharing her expertise and patiently guiding the girls throughout the training, and to everyone who helped us bring these five days to life.

And with that, the Leo Club of Bel Air officially closes out our service project 'PROJECT LIMITLESS'. 🦁💙💚
We are proud of what we created together, but even more excited about what comes next. ❤️

💅🏽✨ PROJECT LIMITLESS | DAY 5 — THE FINISHING TOUCHES

The final brushstroke. The final detail. The final day. 💅🏽✨

Before we celebrated, there was still work to be done!

For their final training session, the girls returned to their stations to finish their pieces and put the skills they had learned throughout the week to work ; from creating delicate 3D flowers, applying stones, perfecting their designs, and adding those final top-coat finishes.

It was incredible to see the difference between where they started and where they ended ,not just in their nail work, but in the confidence they carried while doing it.

Five days. New skills. New experiences. And plenty of memories made along the way. ❤️

With the final touches complete, it was time to put down the brushes and celebrate everything they had accomplished. 🎓💅🏽

This achievement represents the determination, and hard work she put into her studies. Every pass is a reminder that consistency and perseverance can turn goals into accomplishments.

Makesha, we celebrate you and this incredible milestone! 🌟 Your journey is only beginning, and we can’t wait to see where your hard work takes you next.

💅🏽✨ PROJECT LIMITLESS | DAY 4

Four days in to our second Service Project, and the creativity keeps growing. 🎨✨

Today, the girls took their designs a step further, creating flag-inspired nail designs, experimenting with even more nail art techniques, and getting into bead work to add those extra little details to their creations.

But between the learning, there was also time for the little things that made the day special; snacks, laughter, conversations and lots of smiles. 🥰

It has been amazing watching the girls become more comfortable with the process, try new things, and proudly show off what they’ve created.

Day 4 complete. One more day to go! ❤️

Tomorrow, we wrap up this journey with our final training session and certificate ceremony. 🏆✨
