GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE GUYANA ISLAMIC FORUM
1. To establish NON-SECTARIAN Mosques and Islamic Centres throughout Guyana and to propagate and defend the religion of Islam.
2. To educate Muslims and non-Muslims on Islam in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad O.W.B.P.
3. To own and operate schools, technical and vocational training centers, libraries and printing presses for the distribution of religious literature.
4. To own and operate Health Care Facilities, Night Shelters and Feeding Programmes to provide hope to the poor, the needy, the sick and the destitute.
5. To enter into business ventures to provide funds for running the Guyana Islamic Forum.
6. To establish Youth Movements and Women’s Auxiliaries throughout Guyana.
7. To foster unity and peace among all Muslims religious denominations and cultural/social groups.
8. To make representation in Guyana and in any part of the world for the cause of Islam to guide individuals by using the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad O.W.B.P.]
