Established in 2004 with the Ministry of Human Services as a "Non Profit" Charitable Organisation and achieved it's charitable status with the Guyana Revenue authority in 2005. Since its formation, GIRO has provided humanitarian relief in the form of medical outreaches, feeding programs, clothing distribution, skills training programs and many more.
