O-Zone Foundation Guyana

O-Zone Foundation Guyana Founded and Directed by Olive Gopaul

O-Zone Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in 2015 by Olive Gopaul, former beauty Ambassador of Guyana to the Miss World pageant in 2001. Simply called O-Zone, representing Olive’s Zone, it is a demonstration of Olive’s passion to tackle some of the social issues that are close to her heart. It is Olive’s wish that when a person comes into Olive’s Circle/Zone that person must feel hope

ful and leave feeling more positive, renewed, with a sense of purpose and a clear approach to life . O-Zone’s primary programmes will target families, teens and young adults under the “Families in Crises Programme”, “Youths With Purpose Programme” and “Women Take Your Place Programme”. Each programme will address diverse social issues, with special emphasis on creating a viable sentencing alternative for non-violent juvenile offenders, and establishing a pre-release and re-integration programme for those currently incarcerated, so as to reduce the rate of recidivism, and to arrest the rapid and continuous degeneration of families.
